The little kit bounded out of the nursery, her paws hitting the muddy floor with a thump. It had been raining for most of the day, turning the usually warm and dry cat to cold and wet ones. She tried to take a step forwards but slipped over and landed face first in the mud. Skykit stood up and tried to shake the mud off but it just wouldn't budge. Sighing, the little kit padded carefully over to a large puddle just outside the nursery. She dipped her paws in, enjoying the feel of the cool on her paws. Soon, she was splashing around in it and rolling around. She had always loved water. Her mother had always said that she shouldn't tell anyone because it was unusual and some cats might think that she was weird. but Skykit didn't care if anyone was watching. It was too fun.

A silver lilac tabby tom kit was peacefully sleeping in one of the corners of the nursery, dreaming of the exciting day he would finally get to become a warrior. but before the dream could end, Graykit heard loud pounding rain down on the nursery. He opened his green eyes groggily, but the drowsiness left the young tom as soon as he realized that it was raining. He hopped out of his nice warm nest made of moss and down before scrambling for the entrance of the den. Graykit quickly poked his head out of the nursery before racing out into the cold rain drops, almost falling in the slippery mud. He skidded to a halt when he spotted a denmate of his. He immediately crouched down into the hunter's crouch, his tail waving in the air as he crept towards Skykit.
