Beetlepaw had never really been like the clan, she seemed...slower then them in a sense, it took a lot of explaining for her to understand things that most cats got after the second or third time, but she didn't think they're was anything wrong with herself, not really, she had a nice mom and a kind older brother who would always tell her stories and show her things, she liked him, he was very patient with her and didn't mind telling her things over and over again, right now she was pushing a pile of leaves together she was going to try and make her older brother something nice, a present cause he was feeling poorly due to his broken leg so she thought he'd like a little gift she sat back and looked at her leaf pile and smiled a little it was looking good, but it was missing something.... Lionhearted for Littlerye Deku for Brackenlight

OOC: actually Deku Beetlepaw is Mudbranch's half sister on his mothers side so this is even better XD

[Deku]

OOC: Is it Beetlekit or Beetlepaw? You used both. Beetlepaw IC and Beetlekit OOC...

IC:

Brackenlight stood, stretching silently. Her limbs were sore from sitting in the Queen's den so long with her kits. She hadn't been able to stretch them as much as she had wanted to in the cramped den. The ginger she-cat strode out into the clearing. She took in a deep breath, enjoying the fresh air. Now what could she do? She looked around the clearing and saw a small she-cat. 'Well, making friends is always an option.' She thought, padding over. "Hi!" She mewed, "I'm Brackenlight. What's your name?" She asked, looking down at the she-cat.

[Falcon]

Beetlepaw looked up at the she-cat when she spoke she kind of knew her, she was the she-cat that was always around her big brother, she looked nice and her brother really liked her Beetlepaw smiled making a noise in her throat while she looked down at her leaf pile, she wasn't very good with words though

[Deku]

She tilted her head slightly. She knew this cat. She was almost positive. "You're Beetlepaw right?" She asked, just to make sure. She didn't seem to like to talk much. Brackenlight shrugged inwardly. Well, that's why she was here. She liked to talk and that made it easy to become friends with these shy apprentices.

[Falcon]

Beetlepaw nodded recognizing her name, her brother had taught it to her so she wouldn't get confused, she didn't know why her name had to change but she liked her new name a little too so she figured it wasn't to bad she sat down her gaze leaving her little pile of leaves to study Brackenlight

[Lionhearted]

The ginger tabby strode into camp, yawning again. "Hey, Brackenlight," he murmured tiredly, stopping beside her to give a greeting. He spotted the apprentice she was talking to. He vaguely recalled her name... Beetlepaw, was it? He'd been told that she was kind of slow, but he didn't exactly know how that affected her life. "You're Beetlepaw?" He asked abruptly.

[Falcon]

Beetlepaw nodded slowly as the new cat came over, she didn't know who this was, but he didn't look scary so she supposed he couldn't be so bad she looked down at her pile of leaves and moved one of the leaves toward the top, there it looked a lot better now

[Lionhearted]

"What are you doing?" Littlerye asked lazily, peering down at her. He frowned; Beetlepaw seemed, to him, the sort of cat who would turnup their noses at cats like him- who most cats thought stupid and weak. She was ignoring him now, as he could tell, and this was annoying him. Cheeky she-cat!

[Falcon]

Beetlepaw was unaware of Littlerye talking to her, tilting her head a little and rearranging a few of the leaves in her pile, it had to be perfect for her big brother she looked around a moment looking for something else to put in her present wondering what else her brother might like Lionhearted

[Lionhearted]

Littlerye became angry. The heat had gotten to his head, and his temper had been cut short. Who was this Beetlepaw to ignore him? Placing a paw in the middle of her leaf pile, he snarled and hunched his shoulders, peering down at her. Glaring with his amber eyes, he made a swipe at her pile, and the remaining leaves swirled away. "I asked you a question," he snapped. "Answer it, mouse-brain!"

[Falcon]

Beetlepaw let out an anguished cry as her brother's present was torn apart by the other cat she ran about trying to grab the leaves as they blew around, hoping to catch them so she could remake her big brother's present, she didn't understand why the big cat would do this? Was he jealous that he didn't have a present like her big brothers? maybe she'd make him one too

[Deku]

Brackenlight nodded to Littlerye as he padded forward. He wasn't one of her favorite cats in the world. In fact, she didn't really like him at all. Yet, she was polite to him. They were all clanmates anyways. She watched quietly as Beetlepaw seemingly ignored the lazy tom. The ginger she-cat knew this couldn't end well. When Littlerye stepped on the smaller cats leaves, she narrowed her eyes. Beetlepaw may have ignored him, but there was no need for that. Brackenlight stood, quickly helping the apprentice to gather the leaves then turned to face Littlerye. "She may not have answered your question but that was no reason to step on her leaves." She mewed, her eyes glinting.

OOC: Sorry this is very late...

[Lionhearted]

"Her leaves?" sneered Littlerye, now getting truly annoyed. "This isn't your argument, Brackenlight. Stalk off, and mind your own business. You want a fight, go do it with a rouge. We're just having a little chat here. Beetlepaw's being rude, don't you see? She's not answering me, and it's very impolite to ignore someone."

[Falcon]

Beetlepaw was completely unaware of the other cats in the moment, focusing on rebuilding her brothers present she had to finish it so she could bring it to him in the medicine den, she wanted to cheer him up cause he didn't like being stuck in there for so long

[Deku]

Her jaw nearly dropped at his reply. This wasn't her argument? The nerve of him! He was the one who just walked in! "I could say the same to you Littlerye. You shouldn't go picking fights with apprentices." She mewed, glancing back at Beetlepaw. She knew the she-cat wasn't ignoring them on purpose. It just seemed as if she couldn't focus on more than one thing at a time. She looked back at Littlerye. She was tempted to go talk to Briarstar about this tom.
