Grasskit gazed around the hazy nursery. She sighed unhappily remembering that all her mother's attention was on her two deaf sisters. She thought I wish someone could show be how to be cool and be notice, sometimes I feel like I'm not special. She blinked slowly felling very tired. She made a tiny yawn and then lay down and closed her eyes. She feel in to a deep sleep....

Grasskit awoke on a grassy field. Startled, she thought want where am I! She glanced around the clearing trying to detect another cat to straighten things out. She felt a warm wind hit her back. She closed her eyes halfway in happiness. She opened her nose trying to catch the scent of another cat. She felt a cold wind and then looked around with puzzlement. She thought what! How can it be warm and cold at the same time! She sat down and finally said," Um, hello, is anyone there? I'm sort of lost". She waited for a cat to come and help her.

Snakeheart kept in the shadows a moment "this is one place you don't have to worry about being lost" she stalked out of the dark trees her claws catching on the grass a little as she walked "who are you?" she asked curiously her head tilting slightly as she watched the kit

Grasskit looked at the she-cat who had come out of the bushes. She looked at the she-cat and said," I am Grasskit of Stormclan, I fell asleep and now I'm here". She looked at the ground to she ripped up grass and plants. She thought a lot of cats must fight here. She looked at the she-cat and said," what's your name and where am I right now"? She tilted her head and waited for the she-cat's answer.

Snakeheart grinned a little "I'm Snakeheart, and you're in a dream right now, your own dream actually" she looks around "rather nice looking place, do you recognize it?" she sits down "I can feel it inside you, you're heart is hungry, you feel betrayed and lonely, that's why I'm here"

Grasskit was amazed. She thought how does she know that I'm lonely, she must be like my special mentor or something like that. She looked around and remembered where they were. She looked at Snakeheart and said,"where in the clearing in the forest, right"? She looked at said," why are you here, to help me, guide me, train me"? She looked at Snakeheart and waited for her answer.

Snakeheart nodded "though not yet of course as you are still a kit, but soon, soon you will know the true warrior spirit, and be able to make every cat look at you with respect, you're own mother wouldn't be able to ignore for very long after you start learning from a real warrior"

Grasskit looked at the she-cat with wide eyes. She smiled slightly and said," really, my mommy will notice me! I will get to be trained by a real warrior"! She danced around for a little and then stopped and stood up nice and straight and said," what do I do now, snakeheart"? She waited for her new mentor to answer.

Snakeheart chuckled "well nothing yet of course but once you're an apprentice I'll teach you anything and everything you desire, you'll feel the power of the ancient clans pumping through your veins and you'll know what it truly means to be a warrior, then you'll be respected and feared by anyone you wish"

Grasskit nodded and then said," snakeheart, can you just show me some of the moves I will learn as a apprentice"? She thought about her apprentice ceremony which was coming up. She thought about how she was about 5 moons and a half of a moon. She did a small jump of happiness. She smiled and waited for snakeheart to answer.

Snakeheart shook her head "nope sorry, but don't worry" her smirk grew a little her eyes gleaming but don't worry I'll always be waiting in the shadows if you ever want to learn about the REAL warrior spirit" she backed away into the shadows allowing herself and the barren trees to fade, leaving Grasskit in her dream
