Silverbreeze whole her pelt as she entered the clearing. Today seemed to be an exceptionally windy day. Yawning, she stretched her limbs and smiled at the brand new day that awaited her. Gray eyes stared at the clouds which covered the sun and showed signs of rain. "I wonder what adventure will await me today" she mumbled remember the times as she was kit. Lately, she felt a strange distance from everyone. She couldn't help but think about her parents neglecting her for her brother. Sighing, she moved to the fresh kill pile to take a bird. Memories of being an apprentice flooded he mind. Time went by so fast. She grabbed the prey and say down in a far corner staring at the prey. The gray, white, and black that usually danced with excitement dulled down a bit. Attention. Time was nothing more than object used to keep track of events. Memories were nothing to her. After all, they just brought bad sad memories of being neglected by her parents. Her stormy eyes still rested on the prey as she took her paw and nudged it away. If memories meant nothing to her, didn't that mean time didn't exist for her as well? Most cats thought of her as a cheery and boyish cat. While that was true, it was just a way for her to forget everything. Her attitude, her outlook, her personality. It was all a cover from the truth. She wanted to meet someone that thought like her. Someone more about what is going on around them and most importantly, someone who would pay attention to her.

Lionhearted

Spiderfrost crossed the clearing with a mouse in his jaws, his heart pounding. His day would come anyday now. Everyday, he had been expecting it, but no punishment had come yet, so far. Shaking slightly, he dropped the prey off and bounded away quickly, across the clearing, hoping to avoid cats. Diving into a nearby alcove, he curled up, pulling on a bored look. Hopefully, no one else would suspect anything weird. Those two meddling apprentices better not babble!

Silverbreeze turned her head to the side noticing the tom lying down in the alcove. She stared intensely with her gray eyes trying to read his eyes. Her observations were never wrong. He was hiding something and Silverbreeze could tell. Picking up the piece of prey, she padded over to the tom and dropped it in front of him nudging it to him. "I'm that hungry anymore. Would you like some?" she inquired. She recognized the cat as Spiderfrost. She sat down besides him. No matter what she would crack the mystery behind the mysterious tom.

A she-cat appeared in his peripheral vision. Oh no, please don't come, please don't come talk to me. He looked down, wanting to indicate that he needed some alone time. but he heard a thud, and the smell of prey. He glanced at it, and it looked somewhat unappetizing, despite the fact that he hadn't eaten the entire day.

"I'm not that hungry anymore. Want some?"

"No, thanks," Spiderfrost said tiredly. "Hi, Silverbreeze. Can I help you?"

"How about this: can I help you?" She responded after a slight pause. "There's no helping me anymore. It's too late. I've been scarred on my heart. but, I know a face in need of help when I see one." She let her long fluffy tail wrap around her body to give her warmth from the wind. It was like the warmth from a mother to a kit. Something Silverbreeze had never experienced. Her childhood had been ruined by her own family. Neglected and abandoned for being born the wrong way. Silverbreeze committed the mistake of not telling how she felt. She was a warrior of Talonclan and it was her job to protect her clan and clan mates. So, no matter what she would help Spiderfrost overcome his dark times. She would treat his wound on his heart but with care unlike other cats in her time of need. Her eyes clouded up like dark storm clouds on a perfectly sunny day. "…Because without someone besides you.... You won't ever recover." She looked at her paws blinking away the sad thought while slightly shaking her head.

"Says who?" Spiderfrost asked rather rudely, unaware of his outburst. "Why do you think you can know how I feel? You probably don't. I just want some alone time." Spiderfrost rolled over and closed his eyes, pushing the prey back towards her with his tail. "Here. Give it to some kit or elder who needs it more than me. It doesn't matter for me, any-way. I'm not hungry, either. And I don't really need your help," he finished. "I just want to... sleep. Maybe. Whatever."

Silverbreeze flattened her ears and stomped her front right paw in fusteration. Didn't he get it? She was trying to help him and the tom wasn't grateful at all. It's not all of the time a cat will try to help and figure what's wrong with another. "Fine. If you don't want to accept my help then I'll just leave you here to be alone for as long as you want. It's not like I don't know how you feel. Maybe if just told me and accepted my help you would feel better," Silverbreeze sniffled. She started to turn on her paws ready to run across the clearing into the forest.
