Looking for apprentice friends! {OPEN}

Nightpaw padded through the entrance into the camp with the rest of the returning border patrol. Her mentor, Tigersplash, had been keeping her very busy from sunrise to sundown the past half a moon and she was itching to go out and explore with some other apprentices. She stopped and scanned the clearing with her green-hazel eyes. Tigersplash was no where to be found. Yes!, she thought bounding over to the apprentice's den. Nightpaw poked her slender black head into the entrance. "Hey!", she meowed not trying to be too loud. "Anyone want to go have some fun?"

Birchpaw looked up from inside the den, his gentle gaze resting on the apprentice at the entrance. Nightpaw, right?

"Hi Nightpaw," he greeted her shyly. He tended to be a shy and awkward tom, especially with she-cats. He doubted she even knew his name- he tended to stay in the background.

Nightpaw ears swiveled towards the sound of Birchpaw's voice. "Hey Birchpaw," she replied. She dropped her meow to a whisper, "Do you want to sneak out of camp and go explore with me?" She knew the young tom would probably say no but she wanted to invite him anyway. Where is everyone today?, she thought to herself with annoyance.

Birchpaw was a bit taken aback by Nightpaw's offer. He wasn't really one to go looking for trouble...

but then again, he didn't think his mentor had anything planned for him that day, and he had been told he needed to try and make friends. Maybe this was a good thing for him?

Besides, they were apprentices, they were allowed to leave camp. It wouldn't really be sneaking out.

"Um, sure, I'll go," he mewed in response, still unsure about the whole situation.

Nightpaw blinked in surprise at Birchpaw. but her shock quickly dissipated and she meowed brightly, "Okay! Come on!" She backed out of the apprentice's den and padded away towards the entrance of the camp. She sat near the entrance and began to groom herself, methodically licking her paw and drawing it over her face. Her real purpose though was to keep her eye on the clearning. One, for nosy kits or warriors seeing what they were doing, and two, other appremtices to join their adventure.
