Muse: Lost in the scary woods.
Misteye found it a bit difficult to fall asleep. Usually his best friend's snoring didn't bother him but tonight was different. The tan blind tom's sleep was not only disturbed by Blazepelt but also hindered by excitement. Misteye was practically jumping in his nest. More than anything the blind cat had wanted an apprentice. Now he was given one! Misteye quickly figured out how difficult it would be to fall asleep but it had not bothered him then. Now it did. He knew it was essential that he managed to get a good amount of sleep but his body simply would not be calmed down. Quite frustrating for not only Misteye, but the cats that had to endure his constant noises. It took a bit to make him settle peacefully into a nice long sleep.
When Misteye jolted awake, from the feeling of something hitting him, all he could smell was the strong odor of the close friend of his, Blazepelt. The golden tom cracked a joke before pushing Misteye out of his nest. The tan warrior teetered a bit, a little off balanced. Awake and also possibly annoyed, it occurred to him that it was about time he did wake up. Only now did it occur to him how long he had been sleeping. With a rush of realization, he scrambled out of his nest and rushed quickly passed Blazepelt, knocked his friend over, and flew out of the warriors den.
Misteye continuously muttered how stupid he was to sleep in so late! He accused his body of not waking up on time. It defended itself by reasoning that it go basically no sleep due to the brain. That was when Misteye was forced to resign the fight and concentrate on getting to the apprentices den despite the protests of his body.
Misteye burst in, wild eyed and appearing a bit messy. Shouting loudly, Misteye hollered for his apprentice, telling Logpaw that they would be doing a little hunting.
