OOC: Ambrose for Willowbranch. Well, here we go with the Greencough thingy.

Sunstar sat in her den, silently waiting for her deputy to appear in the entrance. She had asked Willowbranch here earlier, and she hoped that the she-cat would get here soon. She didn't want to worry her with a random coughing fit. So the golden tabby waited, her fur lacking its usual shine. Her bout of Greencough was worse than she realized. She would die within the next couple of days whether she got help or not. Thankfully she would only lose a life. At least, she hoped she would only lose a life.

Willowbranch returned from training one of her apprentices, ready to have a good lying down. A long cloud split the sky in half, ready to pour rain down on the land. Willowbranch knew the good weather wouldn't last; it was leafbare, after all. She made her way to the Warriors' Den and curled up, letting all the stresses of the day melt away. Wait, hold on a second! Sunstar asked to meet me earlier! She jumped up, leaped over the few sleeping bodies in the Warriors' Den, and pelted towards Sunstar's den, skidding to a halt at the entrance. "Sunstar, I'm so sorry I'm late! You asked for me earlier, is there something we need to talk about?" she spluttered, dipping her head to her leader.

OOC: It's fine. Believe me, mine is short compared to what I was writing for her yesterday. Blame Issie for exhausting her muse ^.^

Sunstar chuckled weakly as Willowbranch came running for her den. 'Looks like she had forgotten.' She thought to herself. "It's fine Willowbranch. I wasn't going anywhere. Now please, come in and sit." She was shivering although it wasn't enough to be completely visible. She gave her deputy some time to get comfortable before starting again.

"Yes, there is something we need to talk about Willowbranch. I believe I have Greencough. I hadn't been planning on telling the clan. I didn't want them to worry about me so much that they forgot their weaker clanmates. However, it has been brought to my attention that while my intentions were good, it was stupid." She paused as she struggled to push down the coughing fit that was very quickly tiring her out. "Willowbranch, I fear that I am going to lose a life to this cursed sickness. I may need you to lead the clan while I get over it." She mewed, her voice a raspy whisper.

Willowbranch let herself relax when Sunstar reassured her it was okay; she was worried, but thankfully her fears were dismissed. She sat down, wrapping her tail around her paws, making sure her posture was formal and appropriate for consulting with her leader. Yes, she was Sunstar's second in command, but she also had a great deal of respect for the she-cat. She listened to Sunstar. "Yes, there is something we need to talk about Willowbranch. I believe I have Greencough." Willowbranch's face turned easily to a shocked expression; Sunstar had greencough?! How many lives did she even have? Without a doubt, a good few more, but she couldn't just go and die! Willowbranch kneaded anxiously at the ground as Sunstar continued. "I hadn't been planning on telling the clan. I didn't want them to worry about me so much that they forgot their weaker clanmates. However, it has been brought to my attention that while my intentions were good, it was stupid." She nodded, understanding. Willowbranch didn't want to make much of a fuss either, but Smokecloud had persuaded her to go. "Willowbranch, I fear that I am going to lose a life to this cursed sickness. I may need you to lead the clan while I get over it." Sunstar had confirmed her worries; she thought she was going to lose a life. She was a little worried about possibly having to lead the Clan for a little while, but it probably wouldn't be for that long. "Lose a life! Oh, I pray to StarClan that doesn't happen. I will lead the Clan to the best of my ability while you recover." Willowbranch said, worry in her voice.
