Waking up with a hopefully gleam in her eyes Pebblekit began to poke at her others side "Mother! Did you hear about what happen! I taught that apprentice well didn't I?" She stood up tall and flicked her tail back and forth joyfully waiting on her mothers approval, narrowing her green eyes in the darkness of the nursery she watched as her mothers tabby pelt soon turned to a different color and realized it was her adopted mother. Baffled for a moment she stood there before quickly darting out of the nursery thinking nothing more of whats he had just done.

Pebblekit darted out of the nursery the day before holding a bit of excitement for her, she was ready for the day and hoped all the other kits feared her. Standing up proudly she believed she had proved herself, taught that apprentice a good lesson too. She turned her head her eyes wide and full of excitement searching for something to entertain herself with.

Oakpaw padded into camp, his paws ached from the dawn patrol he had gone on with some of the warriors from the clan. It had been worth it though, he had been the only apprentice there, so he was able to learn a lot. He walked past the nursery on the way to the medicine cats den, he had to get his ear checked out, for the last time hopefully. There was some big concern that his ear would get infected and then fall off, maybe not that dramatic, but ti made for a better story when he told the other apprentices. He was just about clear of the nursery when all the sudden he tripped over something.

The apprentice managed to catch himself before he actually feel face first on the ground, he also was able to catch the scent of the devil that tripped him, even if it was an accident. "Oh, just my luck!"Oakpaw, hissed, facing the little kit. He shook out his coat, grooming it quickly in certain spots to make sure he looked as best as possible. He had young she-cat apprentices who he had to look sharp for. "Why aren't you inside sleeping like a good little kit?" He mocked the small cat, flicking his good ear in the direction of the nursery.

Pebblekit ducked down trying to avoid the big fat paws heading in her direction "Hey! Hey! Watch it you nasty dog!" she stood to her paws and hissed at the apprentice her eyes narrowing. "Aren't you suppose to be doing your job instead of harassing a small kit who can easily skin you, don't make me take the other ear off" the last bit of what she said she took a step forward opening her mouth just enough to where he could see her little teeth.

Her long tabby tail flicked back and forth as she eyed the tom before her "Why even bother? You still look gross" she made a stink face sticking the tip of her tongue out as the tom groomed his self clearly trying to impress someone.

Oakpaw narrowed his eyes at the tiny kit. "I just got off a patrol you moused-brain fool! Not that its any concern of yours though!" The older tom ignored her comment about being able to skin him, that was just ridiculous honestly. It was so ridiculous that he couldn't even find it in him to argue about it. "You won't ever get the chance to rip off the other ear! I'd destroy you before I'd ever let that happen, got it pipsqueak!" The fur on the back of his neck was raised now, his claws were digging down into the dirt, he was trying so hard not to claw the little kit to pieces.

"I guess I'm not too gross if all the apprentices beg me to share tongues with them," Oakpaw was handsome, but he wasn't that handsome or fawned over, although in his head that's exactly what he thought. "but that's something that you'll never understand, no one will want to share tongues with you ever."The apprentice smiled down almost too sweetly at the kit. He was now having fun with this conversation, his body was even starting to relax.
