Beetlecreek walked along happily, blissfully unaware of any sort of danger, but she was always that way ever since she was little she wasn't quite right in the head, but in a harmless sort of way like an overgrown kit, she stopped when she noticed she was on the edge of a large cliff, looking down into it she saw nothing but darkness was there something inside there? She was curious and leaned down a little more Phantomspirit

"Raghhhh!" Sunpaw yowled playfully as he lept from the side. He pinned his friend down and grinned at her expression. "Hiya Beetlecreek!" He laughed as he stepped off of her, "Oh man you should have seen the look on your face! Priceless!" Sunpaw absentmindedly rubbed the triangular scar where his right eye used to be.

Beetlecreek giggled her tail lashing from side to side playfully crouching into a play bow she began to circle the tom, this was her friend, she never quite understood what he said sometimes but she liked him, he was funny, suddenly a butterfly caught her attention and she batted at it, heading toward the chasm

"GAH!" Sunpaw yelled. He grabbed the she cat by the scruff and attempted to drag her back over the edge. He knew that if there was one thing he and Cipher agreed on, it was that they had to keep their only friends safe. "You're really lucky that I... Got stronger..." he muttered before hauling her back up.

[Falcon]

Distracted from the butterfly Beetlecreek roll on top of Sunpaw with a wide grin, she was very small herself and even in the good seasons she was very thin but surprisingly strong, she giggled tugging playing on Sunpaw's good ear growling playfully as she did so, eager to play again

The golden tom rolled his eye, flicking his ear from Beetlecreek's mouth. He attempted to coax her away from the edge of the cliff. Sunpaw sighed in relief, "We should probably get back to camp, Beetlecreek. Come on, let's go" Sunpaw, his tail on the she-cat's shoulder, began to slowly guide his friend back to camp.

[Falcon]

Beetlecreek padded after Sunpaw humming happily, she liked this game...whatever it was...it was nice she stopped spotting a large oval shaped rock, it was wider on the bottom than the top she pawed at it turning it over and over studying it hard, her entire attention focused on the stone

[Phantomspirit]

Sunpaw paused when he felt Beetlecreek leave his side. He turned immediately to see his friend batting an eagle's egg around on the ground. The tom gasped and ran foreword to stop her.

And that's when he heard it.

A horrible screech sounded from above. The damaged apprentice stared up to see the brown and white beast leaning over the side of its nest. It screeched once more, took off from its nest, and rocketed towards the unsuspecting she-cat.

Sunpaw acted as fast as he could. He rushed forward as the eagle came closing in on Beetlecreek. The golden tom shoved her aside, and took the blow himself.

Since the eagle had been aiming for a taller cat, it scrambled at the last minute, only getting a direct scratch to Sunpaw's missing eye scar.

A jolt of shock crossed through him as the vision in his remaining eye began to fade.

'Cipher...' was the last thing he could think before he blacked out, and began to hear a sick laughter rattling his mind.

Beetlecreek looked around, there was a big birdy did it want to play too? She looked around for Sunpaw, wondering if he would like to play with the big birdy? what game could they play with the birdy if it stayed all the way up there it had to come down so they could play

Ooc: Okay, just so ya know, Cipher/Sunpaw spent a long time around humans, so they may use human terms every now and then. Mostly Cipher. Also sorry for long wait.

Cipher chuckled as the bird flailed behind him to regain itself. He sent a lazy glance at Beetlecreek and rolled his eye 'So the kid needs my help. Well, I might as well have fun while I'm free!'

The golden tom whipped around to face the eagle. He swiftly leaped onto it and pinned it to the tree that it had it's talons stuck in. The bird freed itself, flaring its wings out and throwing Cipher away. He landed with a thunkon the dusty ground.

The golden tom got up, "That's it ya peabrained turkey!" he spat, "You're my dinner for tonight!". In a flash, Cipher lunged back on top of the bird, clawing at it's back and eyes.

Beetlecreek watched curiously, wondering what sort of game this was she didn't know it, maybe when they were done playing she could ask them how it went so she could try to play too, it looked like a weird game and their new friend didn't seem to be very happy, but maybe he was acting

Cipher glanced at Beetlecreek every now and then while the bird bucked him around.

'She thinks it's a game!' his mind screamed.

The golden Tom thought for a moment, "Hey Beetlecreek!" He called, "Wanna play the game with me? All you have to do is pull this dumb turkey down by the legs! Then I'll let him have a nice nap."

Beetlecreek hurried over happily eager to play she leaned back on her hind paws and clamped her surprisingly strong jaws on one of the large birds legs, pulling it back down toward the ground, she didn't know what a 'turkey' was but she didn't really care, she was going to play and then that'd all take a nap

'Perfect' Cipher thought. He crawled up the birds back, and finished it off with a bite to the throat. Scarlet blood dropped from his mouth.

Cipher licked his chops hungrily and pulled the bird away from Beetlecreek before sitting down to talk with her.

He put on a tone of joy, "Good job, Beetlecreek! We beat him! Now we're going to let him have a nice little nap in the camp, maybe we can invite him to dinner when he wakes up!"

He grabbed the large bird by the legs, and began to drag it towards the clan camp.

Beetlecreek watched for a moment he looked a little heavy for Sunpaw to carry by himself she began to follow but a bright green leaf catch her attention, it was perfect! she quickly picked it up and padded after Sunpaw walking with a proud puff to her chest as they headed toward camp
