Honeydawn woke up ready to start her day. "Maybe I should go hunting" she thought as she grabbed a large mouse from the fresh-kill pile, sat down and took a bite. "Hmm?"she looked around and spotted a kit who wandered out of the nursery. "Get back to the nursery young one" she meowed to the kit and nudged it back towards the nursery.

Troutpaw padded slowly back into camp, a plump mouse dangling from his jaws. He had messed up when stalking it and stepped on a twig, and had ended up having to race desperately after it before it reached a hole. When it was only a few paw-lengths away from safety, he had managed to hook its back end with his claws, effectively pinning it down. Sloppy, he scolded himself as he walked over to the swollen fresh-kill pile. You'll never become a warrior if you keep messing up your hunting. His warrior assessment was dreadfully close, and though he was usually a skilled hunter, lately he had been making a bunch of novice mistakes. He couldn't let the nerves get to him.

Dropping the mouse on the pile, the older apprentice shook out his short white fur and lifted his grey face to the sun, his deep blue eyes glittering like twin pools. At least it was a beautiful day. Perhaps he would go out and try to redeem himself later.

Honeydawn looked over towards the fresh-kill pile noticing a grey and white apprentice and seeing stress in how he was acting. So she walked over to him and said hello "good morning" she meowed "You seem stressed, why?"she asked. Looking over towards the fresh-kill pile again she noticed his catch "Nice catch" she meowed looking at the mouse
