Ashes, Ashes, Was There a Fire? (open)

Must be since Ash is Here!

Ashenburr, the new name 'round town. With his light gray fur surrounding his dark grey paws and tail you can't help but thinking there was a fire. His pale gold eyes even resembled a soft flame. He was currently spraled across a tree trunk in the clearing. He wasn't near the center but more to the edge. Shadows encased him making his fur seem darker and is eyes brighter than usual. He heard a soft fall of feet and turned to see who it was.

Frecklepaw examined the dusky tom, spotted nose twitching with curiousity. She had never seen this tom before. Well, she was pretty new herself- not a suprise that she didn't know very many cats yet.
Deciding to introduce herself, the ginger apprentice skipped over, waving her tail at him.

--"Hello! I'm Frecklepaw," the feline greeted enthusiastically.
--"What's your name?" The little she-cat inquired, with a slight head tilt.

Ashenburr spotted a young cat skippin' over to him and his stump. He gave a smile. "Why hello Frecklepaw! I'm Ashenburr," He hoped agily from the tree and landed in the light. His pelt changed colors slightly. The dark gray now fadded smoothly into the lighter gray. His golden eyes dulled a bit. Somehow he looked even more like his name.

Poisonclaw stalked out of the warriors den. 'Those old sleep bats made it impossible to sleep.' She thought sourly. When she spotted Ashenburr and Frecklepaw, she was drawn towards them. "Maybe some good insults will brighten my day" Poisonclaw breathed. Instead of saying anything, she simply looked him up and down and held back a laugh. "You look like you have been rolling in ash." Poisonclaw laughed.

Ashenburr looked at Poisonclaw, "Well, thats my name, Ashenburr," the gray tom replied evenly. "You look like a snake has bitten you," He joked. Ashenburr looked curiously at the Poisonclaw. He shook his head and gave a loud yawn. He shook al the way down to his tail from it. "Sleepy morning, eh?"
