Age in Relation to Clan Positions

I was just typing up my character tracker I became slightly confuzzled when it came to age. At first I was going to give them a real date on which they were born but that through up the problem of having them age naturally which would sometimes hamper plots etc when you needed them a certain age. 

So I checked out a couple of other peoples trackers to see what they had done regarding the age of their cats and saw people using labels as Kits, Apprentices, New Warriors, Senior Warriors, Elders etc to describe the rough age group of the cat.

Now me never having read the books and being fairly new to this site means I don't particularly know what ages relate to as groups.

In short, I think it would be a good idea for someone to post a thread saying that your character it a kit from 0 - 6 moons, apprentice from 6 - 10 moons, new warrior from 10 - 20 etc so dumbo's like me knew how old our cats are in relation to the stages in life.

It would only be a rough guide, for example you wouldn't have to have your apprentice become a warrior at 10 moons if it wasn't ready.

What do you guys think?

By the way, the ages are completely made up xD

Kits are 0-6 months, apprentices 6-11 or 12, sometimes 13 moons, and warriors are above that.

Either way, people age their characters literally however they want outside of the minimum real life day requirements for ceremonies, so I'm not sure I understand what's going on.

Sorry, I'm bad at explaining.

I meant like titles almost. Stages in life. Like humans are called babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, adults,OAP's etc.

Like at the moment, any cat above 13 moons could be classed as a warrior. So if I put down on my character tracker Age : Warrior it would mean my cat could be aged anything from 13 moons to 96+ moons. Splitting the stages of life up and giving the labels would mean it would be easier for people to see roughly how old a cat is. So if I put down on my character tracker Age : New Warrior and people knew New Warriors were aged between 13 - 20 moons it gives people a better idea at the age group the cat is in.

Sorry if I'm confusing you. Give me a character and I'll write you a book. Give me an idea and I just confuse everyone XD

I guess it would be nice, but it really depends on how people want to write their trackers. It wouldn't exactly be something I could enforce. ^^'

I think this idea could be added to my idea of a list of terminology, especially if you haven't read the books then you are a lot like me in the sense that you are a little lost. (I have read the books just a long time ago) but if Mid does decide to let me make a terminology guide I think something like this would be helpful to us newbs!
