Aspenpool's Kits....another meeting? (Open)

OOC: This is the closest litter I've ever personally seen on an rp site, so every once in a while when Aspenpool wants to gather her kits....or now apprentices, I might tag you in a thread. You're free to post, but of course you don't have to. This one is so she can personally congratulate all her offsprings she didn't see at the ceremony, as well as inform them, they are soon going to have even MORE half siblings. This will be played off as the day after the ceremony so the litter had time to settle into the apprentice den. Clemintine @lilykit Frost Sand Avery @solo

Aspenpool happily peaked into the apprentice den to see if her offsprings where there. She hadn't gotten to congratulate all of them at the ceremony and she couldn't wait to give them a big lick on the nose and tell them how joyful it was to see them all get their mentors. It had been one of the best days of her life. She wasn't sure yet if she wanted to tell her sons and daughters that she would soon have more kits. She expected that some of them would be very excited to have younger siblings that looked up to them, and others would be disappointed that they wern't her babies anymore. In Aspenpool's eyes, this was her first litter, and no matter what, they would always be her precious little kits (even though all of them were much much larger then she was now) she had grown to love.

"Hello?" She called out sweetly as she walked into the apprentice den. She couldn't wait to see all of her lovely kits...well....apprentices.

"Mama!" Featherpaw mewed, rushing to muzzle her mom, "I'm an apprentice now!" Her eyes were big and wide, twinkling with excitement. "I'm going to try to be the best apprentice for you momma!" She purred, her fur poofed up from a restless night.

Softpaw knew that Aspenpool wasn't her mother, but since she was half-siblings with her kits, Aspenpool felt like a second mother to her. She padded foreward, tilting her head. "Hi Aspenpool." She mewed.

Spottedpaw looked up when he heard his mothers voice he wasn't really sure what to think of his new mentor. He supposed he should be glad that he was male because he had heard that his mentor liked to flirt. He got to his paws and walked over to his mother. "Hey," he meowed not saying anything else flicking his ears back and forth.

Aspenpool smiled at Featherpaw as she ran up to her. She licked her daughter's nose and softly nuzzled her head, which she had to reach up to do since Featherpaw was now larger then her own mother. "I'm so proud of your Featherpaw! I know you're going to be a great apprentice and an amazing warrior. Seeing all of you kits...I mean apprentice, get your new names and mentors was the best day of my life! I enjoyed it even more then the day I become a warrior myself. I'm so excited for all of you." She couldn't help but have a big smile on her face. She knew her kits would be great....apprentices...they were apprentices now, not kits. That was definitely take some time getting used to. Aspenpool looked at Softpaw, her best friend's kit. She was excited for Echoheart and her offsprings too. "Hello Softpaw! Congratulations to you as well. I know your mother is so very proud of you, and I'm proud of you too."

Echoheart and Aspenpool had practically raised their kits together, so she was also very happy for her best friend. "Hey Spottedpaw! I'm very proud of you son!" She said nuzzling her son. She remembered when he was so sick and she thought he might just die. All those sleepless nights and here she was looking at her son. He was so grown up now!

Daisypaw ran over to her mother after she was done talking to Spottedpaw and Featherpaw. "Hello mom!" She said in an excited tone. Aspenpool smiled at her daughter before nuzzling her, which Daisypaw had to duck down for since her mother was so small. "Hello Daisypaw! I bet you're excited to be an apprentice! Congratulations sweetie!" Then she looked at all of her offsprings for a moment, "So do you guys like your mentors so far?"

Sandstripe padded into the apprentice den and looked at all the kits... apprentices... "Well look at these strong Apprentices" his deep voiced echoed in the den and he sat down next to Aspenpool giving her a lick on the head like he always did.

Frostpaw twitched her eft ear and lifted her head up, like softpaw Aspenpool wasn't her mom but she might as well be her second mom. Frostpaw ran over to Sandstripe attack his large paw "Hai Aspenpool! Sandstripe you mousefoot" Frostpaw was talking more know and she called everyone Mousefoot because her mother scolded her for saying Mousebrain.

OOC: Okay so I just want to make sure Aspenpool at least gets to tell the apprentices about her litter so none of them freak out and accuse her of not telling them later.

IC: Aspenpool listened to her offsprings chit-chatting and finally decided it was time to tell them about her litter and get it over with. "Well I'm so proud of you all, and I'm sure you'll set good examples for your little sisters or little brothers!" She smiled brightly at her offsprings, sure they would be happy. And if they wouldn't be happy, that was just too bad, she wasn't going to abandon her litter to make her last litter happy obviously. There was nothing anyone could do about it. "In under a moon you'll all have little brothers and sisters that look up to you! I'm so proud of you all and everything you have accomplished. It was a joy watching every single one of you grow into the beautiful cats you are today." Her voice was sweet, optimistic, and warm. She hoped desperately she wouldn't have any stillborns. She had never dealt with death before and didn't want to start now.

Spottedpaw glanced at his mother the tip of his tail twitching. "It's great your happy but I'm not anything special," he meowed. So maybe he had gotten a little pessimistic over time but he was saying what he thought. He didn't think that he was special. In a way he figured that he would be a huge let down to his clan. He just knew that his new mentor would end up getting on his nerves. He had heard that Birchflame was a huge flirt. 'At least we're both toms,' he thought with a sigh.

OOC: Just saying, my only cat (Spottedpaw) is the same as yours. Although she is a she-cat. Well, just saying! ^.^ Is yours a tom? Is your Spottedpaw a warrior yet? Please reply!!

Dawnpaw saw her mom enter the apprentice's den and followed her in. "Mom! Ever since I moved in here, I've felt lonely without you... Guess I'm gonna have to get used to it." Dawnpaw came up to Aspenpool and rubbed noses with her mother.
