(Receiving ceremonies: [Acro.], @goldenbird, ☼Шїℓℓ◎ω.
Receiving apprentices: Icestorm and @spiderpelt)
Which do you want first: the good news or the bad news?
Silverstar envisioned herself asking her Clan this, tail whipping back and forth in both excitement and anger. She was excited to do the ceremonies this moon, of course, but at the same time, there were certain cats who needed punishment. She supposed it was best to do the ceremonies after. Sighing, Silverstar stepped out of her den, the glaring sun beating its harsh heat down on her. Greenleaf was truly a wonderful season, yet at the same time, extremely exhausting.
"LeafClan, gather!" Silverstar called, waiting a few minutes before continuing, "I must first announce that there are punishments that I will be giving to some cats today. If you left the battle with TalonClan before I officially ended it, then I expect you to take on apprentice duties for the next moon. Let me make this a warning to all of you: never leave a battle without the approval of your leader. To do so is to dishonor StarClan by dishonoring your leader's word to fight. Remember that the leader's word is law in the warrior code." Silverstar paused again, her eyes settling on a certain ginger tabby tom who had a gray Bengal beside him. She would spare Vergil, but Rowanwhisker had been almost the complete cause of her losing a life. Beyond that, if he hadn't done that, she would've been fighting, not curled up in the medicine den, and thus she never would've lost her left eye to Mintpaw's claws. Stupid medicine cat apprentice.
"Rowanwhisker," Silverstar yowled, "Step forward."
He did, a look of fierce defiance in his eye.
"Rowanwhisker, do you know why you're here?"
"Yes."
"What crime did you commit?" Silverstar asked, sitting and wrapping her tail around her paws. She looked like a mother waiting to hear an answer from a kit whose only wrongdoing was flinging moss at their littermate. Oh, but no, this was so much bigger.
"I defended you from killing another cat, which, as you may or may not know, is against the warrior code." Rowanwhisker defended himself, his tone nothing but calm.
"Briarclaw was a traitor, and now you are as well for attacking your leader. I never should've let your mother into the Clan, pregnant or not. Out of four, only one is left in this Clan. Those are very unfortunate facts, wouldn't you say, Rowanwhisker?"
"No, I'd say it's very good. I'm glad my siblings are out of this Clan. They deserve no less."
"I see. Well, you have until the sun hits that tree before I send out a patrol to kill you. Make sure to be off our territory by then." Silverstar flicked her tail toward a tree that the sun was close to, and as she did so, Rowanwhisker flicked an ear and headed proudly out of the entrance. He had nothing to be ashamed of.
"Continuing on, Hailcloud died in the battle. We will have a proper vigil for him later, but for now, there are ceremonies to do."
"Flamepaw, you have proven yourself worthy of becoming a warrior of LeafClan. Based on your exceptional hunting skills, I grant you the name Flamenose."
"Sedgekit, you are of age to become an apprentice. I now name you Sedgepaw and give you Icestorm as a mentor."
"Fleetkit, you are of age to become an apprentice. I now name you Fleetpaw and give you Spiderpelt as a mentor."
