Jackal's Introduction
My name is Jackal. I am the leader of the Merciless Vagabonds. I'm not going to say, 'welcome to our camp' because you're not welcome. You want to join? Fine, stay. If you want help, fine, we'll help you. but first you have to help us...
See that forest in the distance? That's where the Clans live. Long story short, the Clans are four organizations of cats that live together. I don't know any more, nor do I want to know any more. Why? Because I hate the Clans. So do you, if you're going to join. Why do I hate the Clans? That's for me to know and you to find out. If I like you, I'll tell you.
We're not a Clan. How are we supposed to be a Clan if we hate them? No, we are not rouges. We are smarter and less messy than them. We think before we act. We kill and fight cleanly and neatly. That doesn't mean no blood, weakling, if that's what you think. It's killed or be killed out here, ya fox-heads. You act smartly and know how to use the resources around you (mind you, that includes other cats, too), you live. You just hang around and do random shit, you're out. Life's a game, and us Vagabonds are not going to lose.
So we're not going to tolerate any slackers. You're from the Clans? Fine, you can stay. As long as you supply us with valuable information about them that we can use against them. We are going to plan to destroy the warrior code, and finally get. our. revenge!
The Territory
The Vagabonds' camp is a small piece of land on the outskirts of Twolegplace and the Clans' forest, bordering both regions.
There are trees surrounding a small meadow with a couple of rocks. Nicknamed the Grassland, the meadow is the camp of the Vagabonds. A big rock with a small alcove is Jackal's den.
Minor Ranks
Jackal's Accomplices A closed, rather secret group of senior Vagabonds who stick close to Jackal and give him advice. Of course, Jackal doesn't trust anyone, but these are cats who he listens to.
Scouts & Spies These warriors are usually small and lithe, small cats who can sneak around in bushes or former Clan cats who have inside information.
Members Members are everyday Vagabonds who are loyal to the group. All scouts and accomplices are members.
Newbies Newbies are new cats that have just joined and have stayed for less than one half-moon. Newbies are typically teased and made fun of by other members unless they prove themselves either by fighting or talking back.
Hated This is not a real rank but rather a title that other members give secretly to a Vagabond. Hated cats are usually very annoying, nosy, and loud, and other members despise them. These cars are usually former kitty pets.
Dark Forest Allies Dark Forest warriors who have a burning hatred for the Clans typically join the Vagabonds and help them plot raids on the Clans. Usually, they are Jackal's accomplices.
Disclaimer: The Vagabonds are not rouges because rouges like to steal territory and food from Tribes and Clans out of necessity and not necessarily hate. The Merciless Vagabonds aim to terrorize and destroy the Clans, not steal food and territory to survive; these cats were former loners, and are completely capable to hunt and survive for themselves, but they are united with a few common feelings and personalities.
