Kirsty balanced on top of the sticks of wood, what her Two-Leg's referred to as "a fence." Her sparkling blue eyes stared at the forest, her black pelt seemingly heavy, even though it was thin and light. The warm sunlight was attracted to her dark fur, her white chest and line on her nose not as warm as the black on the rest of her pelt. Her small size made her look puny, but the fierce look in her eyes could have been one of a wild cat's.

She glanced one last time back at the warm den, where she was pampered and loved. but that was NOT what she wanted. She wanted to feel the wind in her short fur, and be near other cats. She had heard the stories of the wild cats, and she couldn't help but we curious about it. 

She leaped off the fence, her white tipped paws softly thudding against the grass. Walking forward, her stubby legs slipped forward with the rest of her body, her blue eyes slightly narrowed. The breeze softly brushed against her dark fur, making the short spike up slightly, then fall back down.

Nearing the woods, she slipped into the shaded area that was the beauty, the warm, musky scents of the forest pressing into her nostrils as she took a deep, nervous breath.

Crowtail had been hunting for a while now, what else could the tom do to release his energy? No one wanted to do anything with him and he was actually quite pissed off because of that, he did everything to help others and even then they despised him, oh well, let them with their stupid minds the large black tom was tired of it...

Suddenly a strange smell reached his nose, a intruder? He wondered and followed the trail finding a strange black and white she cat, she seemed quite lost actually. "Hello there, you need any help?" He asked tittling his head a little to the side quite curious with her presence there.

Kirsty practically jumped out of her pelt when she heard a voice, her blue eyes widened."No, not really. Especially if your a wildcat that will eat me, though it is better than living with my wimpy two-legs." She meowed simply, her brows furrowed slightly. She was a tiny, fiesty little black furball, her startling blue eyes, well, startling, since she barely has any white on her fur.

One of his eyebrows shot up curious. "Why would I eat you tell me?" He noticed that his frame towered over her and sat down to try to not look that big. "It's no surprise you look so lost, want some help to get back to your nest?" He asked gentle a soft smile on his lips, he did indeed notice the blue eyes but payed them no mind, he had a friend with violet eyes after all.

"Why would I eat you tell me?"

Kirsty stared up at the big cat,"All the other cats talk about how the cats in the woods would just eat me up like a mouse! Though I didn't exactly believe them, you never really know until you have seen with your own eyes." She meowed all of this kind of solemnly, her blue eyes holding a tint a sadness in them at the thought of the teasing cats. It wasn't he fault she was so tiny!

"It's no surprise you look so lost, want some help to get back to your nest?"

She didn't even wait a split second to answer,"No! I never want to go back there! The stupid two-legs never let me do anything!" She meowed, a hint of sass in her squeaky voice. Fur bristling, she sat down angrily, her blue eyes narrowed, though she looked about as threatening as a three moon old kit, even though she was now 7 moons.

Crowtail chuckled a little. "Okay okay, so what you want to do? What's your name by the way, I'm Crowtail, nice to meet you." He meowed friendly finding the she cat really amusing. "I can imagine that two legs are not the best company to keep, but I also can't imagine a kittypet living in the forest." The large black tom meowed moving his whiskers up and down curious to see her reaction.

Eyebrows elevated slight, she grinned playfully, her dark blue eyes holding a mischievous twinkle in it,"I'm referred to as Kirsty, and I bet I would do just FINE in this forest, thank you very much," She raised her head snobbish-like, but the goofy smile plastered onto her face was what gave away that she was kidding,"but, seriously, I think I would do fine in the woods." She meowed the words softly and seriously, her eyes seas of sparkling blue as she looked up at the massive cat, at least compared to her small size.

"Oh really? Go on then, why are you here talking with me oh great forest expert?" He teased waving his tail and smirking at the she cat. "Why would you need help of a clan cat like me after all you know everything about the forest..." He then got up alonging his large and muscular body before turning away to leave her, he hoped she would call back to him.

"Wait!" She pactically yowled this, for she didn't want to be alone in the forest. Accidentally, she was rushing towards him to stop him, and she collided with him for she did not seem to know her own speed. She glanced up at Crowtail, placing a goofy smile upon herself, right before she reached out a paw and batted him on the side of the face,"Bad Crowtail!" She giggled, scampering up and circling him, giggling like a Justin Bierber fan-girl.

Crowtail raised one of his eye brows at the she cat. "Are you alright? Do you need some herbs?" He looked closely at her. "Did you take cat nip in the way to get here?" The black large tom asked really worried about the kittypet health. "Thats why cats like you shouldn't come to the forest." He said at least examining her close.

"No, I don't believe so. It's just that I rarely have any cats to talk to," She meowed quietly, calming down, for she thought she was having fun, not acting like a mental cat. Her dark blue eyes were a tad sad, for she didn't know she did something she wasn't supposed to.

"Normal cats don't act like that." He meowed and sighed noticing her sadness. "Come follow me." He motioned with his tail for her to follow and started to lead the way to the beach where they could walk and enjoy the sea breeze, he just hoped no one would show up and catch them talking, that would be bad for him.

Kirsty flinched, then followed the big tom, her tail and ears sagging slightly. Whiskers twitching, her small paws brushed against the grass as the ground became sand as they neared the beach. Raising her head slightly, she breathed in the ocean breeze deeply, startled by the salty air that actually smelled quite satisfying.

The black tom sat down the breeze caressing his long fur. "You think tha living in the forest is like the tales they tell you." He meowed looking at the she cat. "but it's nothing like that at all, we fight for survival everyday and if you are really interested in joinning one of the clans you must be aware of this." Crowtail said serious his eyes focused at her. "If you are sure, I will take you to Ratstar and she will decide your fate."

Kirsty looked up at Crowtail, her dark blue eyes determined."I am ready, Crowtail." She meowed, her voice strong, away from her sadness. Settling down in the sand, she reached down gave her fur a swift groom, for it was ruffled from her...interesting action. Her ears twitching, she looked onto the blue sea, the wind ruffling the waves as it ruffled her own fur.
