It was another quiet day in Whisperclan. The sun hung lazily in the sky, giving off a comfortable amount of heat, the cloudless blue sky motionless. Down below in the territory roamed a petite young she-cat, her calico back and head barely visible as she weaved among the brilliant array of flowers. butterflies of every color flapping around her as she did so, her sky blue eyes shining happily. Tansypaw loved the butterfly gardens, enjoying the gentle creatures as they fluttered around her. Often landing on her fur and making her giggle. The dazzling array of flowers giving off a sweet scent that clung to her pristinely groomed pelt. As she moved along, she enjoyed the way the wind made the grasses tickle her belly and filter through her glossy coat. She couldn't of asked for a better day to just relax, and a explore a bit. Having gotten a bit braver now that she'd been am apprentice longer. Though she still avoided borders, and the hawk perch of course.

( That's fine ^^ I've been pretty busy lately anyhow! ) Heatherpaw was enjoying the quiet and peaceful, rather average day in WhisperClan. The she was seated just outside the outskirts of the camp, letting the comforting sun warm her semi-thick pelt, her soft honey eyes reflecting her calm state. Despite the tempting aroma of greenleaf pansies and scurrying prey, the young calico took a different approach on the afternoon. After a quick and rather useless grooming of her glossy fur, she lifted herself onto her dainty paws and began to pad further away from her Clan's camp, now following a fairly used path.

As Heatherpaw lead herself through the faint green meadow, she let her bright gaze scan the many budded and colorful flowers standing out against the itchy grass. She opened her small mouth to let in a long whiff of the wonderful smell, before quickly realizing that she had arrived at her destination. Heatherpaw silently and cheerfully wandered into colorful gardens, admiring the color that seemed to arise from the ground as butterfly landed and took off.

Tansypaw only travels a short distance more before, her sky blue eyes land on the form of Heatherpaw. She blinks some in surprise, well you ain't the only cat in the clan who enjoys a little time out, she reminds herself. Watching her fellow apprentice a moment, she realizes the she-cat is heading her way. Well I suppose I better say hello, she thought pushing through the grass and flowers until she was close enough to be seen. " Uh hello." She calls out in her soft sweet tone, her sky blue eyes glittering in the sunshine. As she spoke her feathery tail wraps around her petite body in a protective manner. It was something she had done for as long as she could remember and it brought her great comfort on first encountering another cat. Even amongst her classmates Tansypaw could be painfully shy. " B-beautiful day huh?" She adds softly, wishing her nerves would settle.

Heatherpaw was seated now, her silky tail curled lightly over her small paws. The calico let out a small sneeze as an airborne butterfly fluttered past her nose. She was frankly surprised she posed no threat to the delicate creatures. She had a soft smile plastered on her petite face, as she let her gaze now scan the beautiful garden.
"Uh hello."
The soft, sweet toned words startled Heatherpaw. Her head shot up and her face heated, for she was anxiously embarrassed that she had not heard her fellow denmate approaching. The young she cleared her throat and tilted her head, squinting to see Tansypaw through the array of flowers and grass. "Hello, Tansypaw!" She exclaimed enthusiastically.
"Yes, it is a very beautiful day! I'm glad to see that I am not the only of our Clan making the best of this weather." The apprentice had a warm smile on her face as she replied to the other she's stammer. "How has the day been treating you?" Heatherpaw had always been a social and mature apprentice, even a kit on that note. She enjoyed speaking with her Clanmates and learning about their daily lives.

Tansypaw cannot help but smile some at Heatherpaw's enthusiastic greeting. Watching her curiously Tansypaw listens closely, black tipped ears perked up. When the she-cat stops speaking, she shuffles her paws a little. " It's b-been a wonderful day, Heatherpaw. thanks for asking." She says, feeling more comfortable with every passing second. This she-cat was just so friendly and warm, it was hard to remain her usual nervous self. " How about you Heatherpaw?" She asks politely in return, her sky blue eyes glittering happily. Her shoulders relax some and her tail loosens its grip. This wasn't Snowpaw or some strict warrior. This she-cat seemed genuine even if Tansypaw hadn't really ever talked to her before now. Who knew perhaps they'd even become friends, she thought.

Heatherpaw was distracted by a butterfly that fluttered close to her ear. By the time she realized Tansypaw had spoken, almost a minute had passed. "Oh! Sorry. That's great, Tansypaw." The young calico pawed at a flower playfully. "You seem slightly tense." She mumbled more to herself, as she kept her gaze on the ground. "My day has been going great though! I love all of the flowers and butterflies and the sun! It's spectacular!" The young apprentice grinned and did a small roll in the tall grass, petals and dirt clinging to her pale pelt. Her soft green eyes were warm and welcoming, brewing with excitement.

Tansypaw smiles a little, shrugging her shoulders a bit. " It's alright." She says softly, amused as she watched Heatherpaw bat at a flower. Her sensitive ears however pick up Heatherpaw's mumbled words and she shuffles her paws some, looking down. " Sorry." She mumbles trying her best to relax all the way. She is distracted luckily by Heatherpaw's next words, and cannot help but beam at the she-cat's happiness. " Oh aren't they marvelous!" She purrs in agreement, sniffing a flower close by her eyes closing momentarily. " I think this is the most beautiful spot in the whole clan." She adds in her soft sweet voice. Then opening her eyes, she cannot help but giggle as Heatherpaw rolls about in the grass. Reaching out a dainty paw, she playfully bats the other cat's whiskers a playful look in her sky blue gaze.

Heatherpaw, despite the pollen and debris plastered to her pelt, still had a grin on her face. "Oh, it's quite alright over here as well! I don't mind your passiveness too much!" The young she let out a long breath and fell into the plants, letting her body relax as the broad sunlight ahead warmed her glossy fur. "Definitely," She agreed quietly, her eyes closed momentarily, that is, until she felt a small bat at the side of her muzzle. Heatherpaw peeked open one of her pale green eyes and was still for quite a while before she leapt to her paws, tackling her denmate playfully. "Roar!"

Tansypaw cocks her head to the side, sort of surprised by Heatherpaw's words. She felt a tad bit self conscious when the she-cat called her out on her passiveness, but on the other hand she was saying she didn't mind it. Shrugging it off Tansypaw watches for Heatherpaw's reaction to her batting her maw. At first she does nothing and Tansypaw is about to apologize thinking she had upset the she-cat when she is tackled off her paws. Letting out a giggle of surprise Tansypaw falls onto her side, her dentate now on top of her. She attempts to batter her with her hind paws in a playful matter, her black tipped ears flicking back. Her sky blue eyes dancing in the sun as she wrestled, her shyness completely forgotten. She loved to play, and it wasn't often she found cats she could play with since she often scared them off with her bashful behavior.

Heatherpaw's pale green eyes shone playfully as she batted at the base of Tansypaw's ear, and her denmante battered her with her hind paws. She giggled lightly, then rolled to the side and into the flowers. As she did, a few colorful butterflies took flight from their perches on nearby plants. The young she huffed and smiled, bracing herself lightly from a counterattack from her new friend.

Tansypaw giggles a bit more as they roll through the flowers and her ear is battered by Heatherpaw. Pollen and butterflies scattering in the sky in their wake. Tansypaw lets out a soft play growl scrambling to her paws and pouncing on Heatherpaw, her feathery tail waving joyfully through the air. " Tag! Your it!" She calls out sky blue gaze ablaze with a playful glimmer. She jumps off of her denemate and play bows, tail swooshing about causing flower petals to rain down on Heatherpaw.

Heatherpaw laughed after a small sneeze, pollen in the air tickling her pink nose. She let out a small leap as she was pounced on, and desperately tried to scramble away. Tag? Heatherpaw instantly wondered if Tansypaw had known that that was one of her favorite games. She leapt to her paws quickly as her denmate raced away, her eyes glowing with excitement. "I'm gonna get you!" She yelped brightly, though she sneezed a few times through the petals that sunk down on her. The young apprentice shook out her fur before sprinting after Tansypaw, a soft smile plastered across her face.

Tansypaw giggles eyes shining at Heatherpaw's words which are followed by a sneeze. " We'll see about that!" She exclaims gleefully, prancing away from Heatherpaw in her graceful manner. Pollen clinging to the white parts of her pelt and turning it a buttery yellow. Ignoring the urge to pause and groom it, she leaps up a slight hill looking back through the sea of flowers in search of Heatherpaw.

A mysterious grin spread across Heatherpaw's face. She was the master of tag, in her opinion, and she was determined to win. The young apprentice stealthy ducked into the flowers and grass, practically speed stalking towards the hill that Tansypaw had climbed. She remembered to keep her paws light on the ground as to not draw attention to herself, but to her dismay, the insects around her did just that. As her debris-cluttered pelt passed by near flowers, the butterflies and honeybees took flight, only to land moments later in the same spot Heatherpaw's had just cleared.

Tansypaw who had dashed up a hill in order to escape Heatherpaw now looks back. She could quite clearly see the trail of bugs and flower pollen left in Heatherpaw's wake. Giggling with amusement she braces herself as her fellow apprentice gets closer and closer. Her feathery tail swooshing through the air sending pollen in all directions, sky blue eyes ablaze with excitement. She crouches hoping to perhaps surprise Heatherpaw instead, she stifles her giggle and lays in wait.
