With a confident gait, the average yet very muscular tom strode into Stormclan's camp with two fish hanging limply from his jaw and his golden, tabby pelt still wet from his swim. Deep green eyes roamed the camp, yet unlike most cats they didn't hold a friendly greeting. Instead they watched everything with a cool arrogance and uninterest.

Reaching the fresh-kill pile in a matter of seconds, Honeyclaw placed down the new additions before selecting himself a much larger fish that seemed to be still warm - after all, he deserved it. Feeling his short coat already beginning to dry from the morning sun, Honeyclaw turned around with his meal and settled on the outside of the clearing where he usually sat - basked in the sunlight yet with a good view of the camps entrance. As arrogant as he seemed, Honeyclaw was devoted to his clan and would lay his life down for it time and time again.

The first bite flooded his senses and he quickly finished off his meal before stretching out in the morning sun, his muscular body rippling underneath his drying pelt.

[Twineheart]

Nearby stretched out in the morning sunshine lay Starlingpaw, his fluffy black and white pelt sucking up the sun's rays like a solar panel. His large tail sweeping the ground back and forth lazily, as he digested his morning meal of mouse. His mossy green eyes open half way, he watches the bustling camp clearing as cats come and go. Half seeking the form of his mentor and half fighting off sleep that came after a satisfying meal. What harm would one little nap do? It wasn't like he napped often. He is just about to doze off when a flash of movement nearby causes his eyes to snap back open. A golden tabby tom, had flopped down nearby to enjoy a meal of fish. Blinking his gaze rapidly Starlingpaw sighs and slowly sits up licking his chest fur a bit and trying to remember this tom's name. H-honeyleaf? Honeyjaw... no Honeyclaw! He thought yawning rather loudly and kneading the ground with his white forepaws. " Morning." He mumbles to the tom, watching as he finished off his prey in a few swift bites, and then stretched out in the glorious sunshine.

Silverfish padded into camp, his fur was still damp from the river. Another warrior asked the large tom to help with some swimming and battle techniques. So he went to the river early to help out. He left his own apprentice Starlingpaw back at camp and they would go hunting later that night. Silverfish was also thinking about some night stalking as well. He had not decided what to do yet so he would probably ask his apprentice on what he felt like doing today. So he padded back into camp. He could smell the scent of fresh fish. He smiled and glanced around camp quickly for the black fur of his apprentice. He spotted Starlingpaw with Honeyclaw, he noticed that they were chatting so he decided that he would grab something to eat then join them. He quickly padded over the fresh kill pile and picked up one of the fresh fish. It seemed to be warm yet and he purred then he padded over to his apprentice and the other warrior. He sat down and put the fish as his jaws, he nodded to Honeyclaw and then he said "Morning Honeyclaw, and Starlingpaw."

Nightpaw stretched as she padded out of the den her jaws opening in a slight yawn, she had been up earlier helping around camp and then she had gone hunting so she decided to take a little nap what was the harm, she looked over seeing a group of cats close by and padded over "morning everyone"

Silverkit bounded out of the nursery, running from another kit whom she had been playing with. She raced across the clearing, convinced that the kit was still following her, unaware that it hadn't even emerged from the nursery. She wasn't paying attention to where she was going, and she ran straight for the black-and-white pelt of Starlingpaw. It seemed like she was going to crash into him if he didn't notice her in time.

One by one as his clanmates settled down around him, a surprised look overcame his face as if to say, 'Oh do you now?' Eyeing his new.. group Honeyclaw raised an eyebrow, an action that caused his dark green eyes to deepen. Shifting his paws and tail closer to him as if to not touch anyone else, his usual arrogance over came him at this sudden intrusion of his privacy. Honeyclaw was.. a difficult cat to get along with and he had many traits which he shared with his sister, Goldenstar. He himself, didn't enjoy the company of many cats, finding them often a nuisance - but he would defend them to the end if need be. After all, he was effortless on the battlefield. 

His reply was gruff, barely a morning as he sat his body up above the rest and looked around the camp, trying to ignore the commotion of cats around him. Not how he had planned spending his morning. As the younger cat came barrelling at the group, Honeyclaw looked at him sternly. "Calm down, kit. No need to take us all down with you." An usual wry smile, barely there.

Starlingpaw notices Honeyclaw's peculiar behavior, like him being nearby was like being near a skunk or something. Hoping he didn't smell bad or something he is distracted by the arrival of his swirly pelt mentor, Silverfish. " Hey Silverfish." He says blinking his mossy gaze in order to rid it of the sleepiness. He leans his head down to lap at the white patch of fur on his chest. His ears perking at the familiar voice of his best friend Nightpaw. He cannot help but purr a little glancing up. " Morning Nightpaw." He says a grin running across his maw, as he lifts a white forepaw and runs it over his face. While doing this he is completely unaware of Silverkit, who was coming barreling his way. Suddenly something collides with his shoulder causing him to grunt with surprise and look down. " Silverkit?!" He says with a chuff of amusement, nudging her to her paws with his maw. " Wha..." He is cut off by Honeyclaw's words. Glancing to the tom he finds him smiling just barely and turning back to Silverkit he simply winks releasing a soft chuckle.

Silverfish, started to eat his fish. He noticed that Nightpaw also joined their group. It was a bit of an odd group. For one he never had really talked to Honeyclaw before. He had been maybe on a patrol with the golden warrior but other than that Silverfish didn't really know the cat. Which always blew Silverfish's mind. He knew each of the cat's in the clan's name but he didn't know much about anyone else unless they were good friends. The silver and brown warrior knew that Honeyclaw was kin with Goldenstar the leader of Stormclan but that was it. He just continued to eat his fish thats when Silverkit, came charging in... literally. The warrior chuckled at the kit and his apprentice. Then he listened to the other warriors words and Silverfish just smiled. He looked at Silverkit and said, "Well good morning Silverkit, you were pretty fast right there maybe you could teach my apprentice here how to run faster." The large warrior twitched his whiskers at his apprentice.

Nightpaw laughed as the small kit ran headlong into Starlingpaw "looks like you're having kits a little early Starlingpaw" she teases poking him with her paw her green eyes bright with mischief "Hello Silverkit" she says to the small kit smiling kindly at her "what's go you running around like this?"

Silverkit looked up at the older cats, eyes wide as she realized that she had interrupted quite the large gathering of cats. "Oh... s-sorry!" she squeaked. She looked up at Starlingpaw and purred in amusement at the surprised look on his face. "H-hi Starlingpaw! Me and Sorrelkit were playing! She's a badger and I'm running from her! Hide me, Starlingpaw!" With those words, she attempted to hide behind him, poking her head above his fur to stare at the nursery anxiously.

((merrrf so sorry for being so late. Starting a new semester at college and moving into an apartment is busy busy, but I'm back now))
