"Lingering is so very lonely when one lingers all alone.”

Stormrunner stepped into the Suncavern and immediately, a wave of loneliness passed over him and he suddenly felt very sad. The cave reminded him so much of Daisyshine and the good memories they had together. He hadn't seen his best friend in a really long time, nor had he talked to anyone since the last time they spoke to each other. He sighed and sat down, not even enjoying the warmth of the cave.

He stared into space for a long time, not knowimg what to do with himself. He finally realized that it was dark outside and that he should be getting back to camp. but for some reason, he couldn't make himself leave. Instead, he closed his eyes, but didn't fall asleep. All he could think about was sweet she-cat he met that seemed to have disappeared from his life.

Mistyfur walked through the Suncavern slowly. Her tail, usually held high in the air, was low, almost touching the ground, and so was her head. She liked coming to the caves, but everytime she did so, a wave of sadness always struck her hard with no reason.

She padded towards the entrance, but stopped on her tracks when another lonely figure appeared. There's another cat here... Who could it be?,she thought.

''H-hello?'' she meowed, nervously. Most of the time, Mistyfur is the most social cat you'll ever met, but when sadness gets the best of her, all her confidence seems to fade away.

Dawnrush walked toward the Suncavern merrily. Her tail and head were held high in the air, her spirits higher still. Today had been a particularly beautiful day, and her hunt earlier had been fruitful. What better way to end the day than to relax in the last rays of sunlight outside the Suncavern?

As she approached, Dawnrush caught the fresh scent. More cats to hang out with! Wonderful! The more the merrier, yes? The she-cat's ginger pelt caught the light of the sunset as she reached the entrance to the cave.

"Hello!" Dawnrush greeted her two clanmates with a cheery tone. "How have you two been today? Lovely day, no?"

Mistyfur looked at the she-cat with round eyes. She opened her mouth, but closed it quickly. She had no idea what to say.

The silver warrior had her ears standing straight, and she finally took courage to answer the newcomer's question, ''Uh... Hey! I-I'm good, what about you?'' she said, approaching Dawnrush. She smiled, the sadness seemed to be fading.
