Duskpaw grinned as he walked through the territory, his tail flicking easily as he walked to the tree where he'd told his best friend to meet him at, just a little ways outside of the camp. He oculd see a few cats walking around, and even flashed a pair of female apprentices a cocky, but charming grin that left the giggling. He grinned easily to himself, sitting down and wrapping his tail around himself, his fluffy, soft fur keeping him warm even with some of the cold air that was more common now that leaf-fall was upon them. The blue tom waited eagerly, looking around and anxiously awaiting his friends arrival, so they could go on an adventure, get in trouble, and just have fun.

Average paws thudding against the ground, the young tom glanced around at the camp, his ears changing movement to almost every small sound. Duskpaw had asked him to go somewhere, but he was really leaning to speaking to Cherrypaw, though it was hard for him to decide when-CODE FLEETPAW! Wolfpaw instantly walked straight out of camp when he saw his sister emerge from the apprentice den, and with a flick of his long, lanky tail, he was leaping across the jutting roots of certain trees and taking instant notice to the many leaves on the ground, and the almost barren trees. His mossy green orbs took back to the path, and he leaped over a log or root with complete ease, with just a small amount of energy and then a dash of what Cherrypaw had taught him.

In quick movements, the silvery-white tom dropped to the ground, his belly just brushing the ground as he noticed Duskpaw ahead of him. With slow, cautious movements, he readied his haunches to leap right at him with no real moral for not doing. Bunching up his strong muscles, he leaped, aimed right at the other tom's shoulders.

The large blue tom had heard the faint ruffle of leaves, the sound of a soft thud of a jump over a log, and instantly grinned. If that was his friend, nay his best friend, then it was about time. He waited, keeping ears perked and trying to sort out the sounds. Fur against leaves, slow occassional brushes before the harder slide of fur against leaves. Ah, mouse dung he thought a moment to late, realizing his friend's attentions the same time the other had jumped. Duskpaw moved into action, attempting to jump out of the way, the tom catching his side just barely. Duskpaw fell to the ground with a huff of air, pulling his best friend down with him before moving to pin him down, "How mean. Tryin' to tackle me like that! Not cool at all." The tom pouted before grinning almost wickedly, "If you wanted me on the ground, you shoulda just asked, big boy." The tom added with a smirk, playing the part of 'dolting homosexual.' Both toms knew Duskpaw was straight though, but it didn't mean he didn't flirt with anything that moved. Where was the fun in life if he didn't do that?

Wolfpaw growled slightly as he just caught Duskpaw's side, landing square on his paws as he sailed right past the tom."It's perfectly cool with such a mouse-brain as a best friend." He smirked, the only time he would ever really make fun of a cat was when he was around the blue tom, who was just a bit better than his least favorite brother, Creekpaw, who spent all the time terrorizing him. With a roll of his soft green eyes,"You wish you could tap this, you mouse-brain. I'm way out of you league." He meowed, a smirk wide on his dashing face and a flick of his long tail.

The male huffed playfully when he turned to smirk at his friend, "Mouse-brain! Hardly. You're just jealous cause, I'm so sexeh, you don't even know." He purred playfully before grinning as he struck a pose, "I could tap anything I want, I'm just that sexy, and good lookin', and charmin' and . . ." There was a pause, before he smirked, "but you're too busy chasing that Med cat apprentice tail, huh?" Like he hadn't been watching his best friend's behavior. Like e hadn't noticed. Hah. And he was determined to figure out what in the world that was about.

With his signature roll of his eyes while he is around his best friend, he smirked slightly at his words,"Yeah right, you can't compare to my sexiness. Your stupid blue fur doesn't have anything on me, I am just way to freaking cool for you." He meowed with a broad smirk, before a flicker of horror appeared on his face. Was it that obvious that he loved Cherrypaw?"U-uh, I don't know what you are talking about!" He meowed quickly, his green eyes wide and almost fearful. No, he couldn't let anyone know he was in love with Cherrypaw. It was forbidden.

Yet he could not help but fall for her greatly.

The tom grinned, "My blue fur is unusual, and the ladies like how soft it is. Soft and cuddly for them to snuggle into." He responded with a smirk before raising an eyebrow, "I'm sexy, just admit it." He retorted with a grin before tilting his head to the side slowly, eyeing him. "You know exactly what I'm talkin' about. Admit it, Wolfpaw. You like her. You like her alot. I won't tell anyone." He assured, looking at him slowly.

With a flick of his tail, he smiled slightly,"Yeah right, like YOU are soft and cuddly. Hah. You make me laugh." He snorted at the thought of Duskpaw being soft and cuddly, which made him burst out laughing, before he froze at Duskpaw's words."How do I know I can trust you? You'd probably run away and tell one of your she-cats, or your other friends." He meowed quietly, staring at his paws with his light forest eyes.

He smirked, moving forward to brush his double pelt against his best friend, to remind the tom of the soft, fluffy fur the cat had because of lucky genetics, truly a soft, and fluffy fur that was . . . perfect for cuddling. "I'm awesome, admit it." He winked, before frowning at his best friend, "Come on, man. I'm your best friend. I'd take your secrets to the grave before I betray you. How can you even suggest that you can't trust me." He said, his tone turning serious as he gently nuddged his companion, "Come on, tell me."

"O...Okay...I really like her..." His voice was very quite as he kneaded the ground with his paws, his green eyes strained with pain. He remembered just how Silverpaw was obviously growing feelings for Cherrypaw, a flicker of sadness in his bright green eyes."So, have you been capturing any hearts, you -?" He asked with a playful gleam in his eyes, the sadness now hidden.

Duskpaw had to grin, flicking his tail up in a proudful manner, "Oh! I knew it! It's like, man, you pick 'em good!" He chuckled, before nudging his friend playfully, before frowning, "but she's the Med Cat Apprentice. How does that work?" He asked with a frown. His friends next question had the tom laughing with a shake of his head, purring as he rubbed up against his best friend teasingly, "You know it, big boy. I'm leavin' a trail of broken hearts in my wake. The ladies best be watchin' out. Duskpaw's on the prowl!"

Light grey paws traveled the earthen floor easily as the young apprentice slowly made her way through the territory of Leafclan. A mouse was clamped tightly in her jaws, and her large wolf-life ears swiveled on her head occasionally. Bright amber/yellow eyes searched the undergrowth for any signs of small prey. The mouse was the first one of her hunting patrol, and she wanted to bring back a rabbit to help re-stock the fresh-kill pile. A cold wind blew around the trees and for once she was relieved that she had her thick, messy gray coat to protect her from the icy breeze. On the air it brought the scent of Leaf-bare, and she knew that snow would soon be upon them. Plus, the threat of Whitecough or Greencough would be extremely high as she was often told by the Medicine Cat Apprentice Cherrypaw. A snort sounded in the air.

Pretty, miss perfect Cherrypaw with her dark tabby coat and liquid chocolate eyes that seemed to melt her brother's into pitiful piles of goo. It made her sick. Long gone were the days of her playing tag, or hunting with them together, they only ever seemed interested in finding out where that piece of tail was. She had no idea what was going on between Silverpaw, Wolfpaw and Cherrypaw, but she had a pretty good idea what was taking place. My brother's are fools, she concluded scornfully, knowing that neither of them could ever really be with her since she was training to be the Medicine Cat. Plus, Cherrypaw was practically mates with her position since she was so dedicated to it. All she ever heard her mutter these days were herbs for curing Greencough and achy-joints for the elders. So. Incredibly. Lame.

Placing her mouse down by the base of the tree she quickly scratched dirt over top the small body and began to scent for more prey. Her hunting instincts kicked in and she narrowed in on the scent of a rabbit. Slinking through the bushes she found the tawny coat easily amongst the dried fernstalks, and on silent paws she descended on the animal. Leaping through the air she squished it into the soil, before cutting off it's scream of terror swiftly. Feeling mighty proud she began to move away but the sight of blue and grey pelts caught her attention. Padding forwards she noticed it was her brother Wolfpaw and his best friend Duskpaw. Placing her rabbit at her feet she cracked a grin, "It looks like the wood's just got overcrowded with you two here pretending to be apprentice's while I'm doing all the work." Her cheery meow echoed around the small clearing, "What are you two Elder's gossiping about now? Or are you being secret like the little she-cats you are?"

For one second, Wolfpaw was smiling brightly at his friend, a tease right on the tip of his tongue, and the next second, he had jumped a few fox lengths away, his back arched and his silvery-white fur completely puffed up in shock as his sister burst into their private conversation."F-Fleetpaw?! What are you doing here?" His voice was quite startled, and his green orbs were wide with shock.

The tom had heard the female's approach for a while, ignoring it for the most part, not fully expecting her to jump into the conversation. He did have to laugh at his best friends reaction, "Well, I think we know who the she-cat in this relationship is, Fleetpaw. Your brother." The charasmatic tom declared with a playful wink before playfully flicking his tail, "Well, you're doing such an amazing job with apprentice work, dear-one. I wouldn't want to step on your paws." He added, before letting his gaze slowly move over her, his grin deepening, "And might I say, you look very pretty today, Fleetpaw, did you do something different to your pelt. It's glossier." He added, letting sincerity creep in his tone as he moved towards her, "but you do have such excellent timing, darling. Your brother was just admitting how much more awesome I am than him." He stated with a chuckle, and licking her shoulder briefly in a fond greeting that came from having known the family of cats for so long.

"F-Fleetpaw?! What are you doing here?"

Amber eyes settled on her brother's alarmed framed, noting his arched back and fur standing on end, she had clearly caught him by surprise. "Pleasure, as always brother." She replied dryly, not enjoying his reaction. It stung a little if she was honest with herself. "I am currently hunting for the Clan, like my mentor instructed me to. What in Starclan are you doing? Gossiping about she-cat's?" Her words were barbed, and eyes slightly hostile towards Wolfpaw, clearly remembering their spat not to long ago. Both of them had teamed up against her when Fleetpaw had shown her displeasure of being left out to her brother, only to be reciprocated with a hidden insult from the "gorggeeouuus" Cherrypaw.

"Well, I think we know who the she-cat in this relationship is, Fleetpaw. Your brother. "Well, you're doing such an amazing job with apprentice work, dear-one. I wouldn't want to step on your paws."

The silver-gray apprentice turned her attention the ever charming Duskpaw, a grin changing her look of hostility to one that matched the tom's playfulness. She rather enjoyed it when Duskpaw was around as conversation constantly flowed, and adventure always followed the tom around, leading for days made of pure excitement. Plus, he wasn't bad to look at either. "I couldn't agree more Duskpaw, clearly my brother is secretly a she-cat in disguise." She sniffed, her whisker's twitching with amusement, her mood already lifting. "You obviously need to be there in order to help him through his lady moods right?" A wicked look of mischief crossed her petite face now, and she cast a look towards Wolfpaw.


"And might I say, you look very pretty today, Fleetpaw, did you do something different to your pelt. It's glossier. but you do have such excellent timing, darling. Your brother was just admitting how much more awesome I am than him."

A plumed tail arched towards Duskpaw's flank as she batted him playfully, a chuckle escaped her lips. "I'd ask that you don't lick me Duskpaw, I have no idea where you've been, you might have something." Referring to the amount of tail he'd probably been hanging around with lately. The tom had grown up to be quite the playful one, and had a thing for chasing she-cats. At the mention of her pelt she glanced towards it. Although glossy, she looked raggedy compared to the soft and sleek fur of Duskpaw. Her fur stood out in every direction, and made her look permanently messy but fluffy. The only captivating portion of the young apprentice was her very large ears, paws and delicate plumed tail. Otherwise then that, everything else resembled the shaggy pelt of a wolf. Much to her chagrin, she was often compared to her brother.
"You know, I can actually believe that, you being the better one of course. He's rather.. sub-par to be honest."
