(OOC: Horrible title, I know. So, how everything was getting boring and I had a lot of leaves in my bank I wasn't going to use for nothing anyway, I decided to bought the early birth and start the thread. Our story begins.)
It had been snowing all night. The snow drops were still falling from the sky as the morning light shone over the pawsteps of the she-cat that had made her temporary shelter there.
Magpie still couldn't figure it out how had she been so stupid to be on this situation. She shouldn't had gone to seek help on a kittypet of all cats on the first place, nor she should had been staying around with said kittypet out of boredom and that, truth be told, the tom wasn't exactly what you could call ugly. She wouldn't make that mistake never again.
but that didn't changed the fact that now she was stuck with seven. Not three, not five, seven kits. Magpie wasn't a believer, even after she had knowledge of what the Dark Forest and StarClan were thanks to Blackfrost, but right now she had doubts. Because this could only be an act of mockery from something beyond her.
The birth had been painful. The first two had been relatively easy, she thought as she watched over the black and white tom(@shimmerstar1161) and the golden she-kit who for reason wasn't going to stop her squealing anytime soon (Squirrelkit). The third one...No so much. Magpie thought that the kit had to be the proof that some strange phenomenon had happened because he not only was larger than his siblings, but he also had extra toes. (Dyzzie)
The second she-kit was pretty, maybe a little too similar to her (Roselocke). The kit that followed was just like his father, but he had shorter fur with white mixed up in there (Lionhearted). Magpie didn't knew what to think of the other two at the moment: One kit was completely black, nothing of white had remained on him (@midnightruin) and the last one was another kittypet clone (@silentsong). Both of them had been born after she thought she was finaly going to rest a little from the pain.
They were...beautiful. but the idea to keep them and raised them was stupid. It was Leafbare, she had enough problems already to be raising seven little weak kits. And they would die from the cold, too. The smart thing to do would be giving them to their father, but she knew what he would do with them and she would had to be dead before giving the twolegs anything, let alone her kits.
Magpie stared at the litter again, and sighed.
