ℓυиαя --- I WARNED YOU.
The female was pacing slowly in front of the nursery, each step a dainty, but thoughtless one that showed how preoccupied her mind was. Some of the queens had heard about her situation, and thankfully had taken the kits under their wings so she could sort through her thoughts before . . . . before going to go talk to Ashnight. Oh god, she couldn't face him. What was she suppose to say. She'd been thinking about it for ages now and still had no answers to what she could, or might be able to say. She sighed, her head shaking slowly as she tried to gather her wits. Just tell him. Just tell him. Before it would become too obvious. Already she had a little extra weight gain, just a tad, that wasn't noticeable beneath her thick, fluffy pelt. but soon it would be. And . . . oh dear god, she couldn't do this. How was she suppose to do it. She just wanted to curl up under a rock and have someone else do the telling. No. No. She owed him this, he was her mate, she should be the one to tell him. No one else. but how was she suppose to do this.
She continued her slow pacing, not watching where she was going. A few cats had been frowning, concerned the female would eventually trip, run into the wall, something just as fitting for the sweet, shy queen. It was at that point that a warrior took off to find the gray tom, finding him and approaching, Go check on that queen of yours. She's scaring everyone with her pacing. He commented, before heading off to do patrol, the female utterly unaware of Ashnight being warned until she suddenly ran head first into him, stumbling back and landing on her rear end, one paw daintly raised in surprise, her ears falling as she looked up at the gray tom with a slightly sheepish and shy smile, "Uh, h-hi Ashnight." Huh, that wasn't going to do. She took a deep breath, forcing her voice to study, "Uh, er, uhmm, what. . . uh, what are you . . . what are you doing here?" That wasn't going to work either. She blushed beneath her pelt, "Uh, not to say I'm not glad to see you, or anything! I'm always happy to see . . . I just, er . . . I think I'm going to go die in a hole now." She mumbled, fully embarrassed as she dropped her front half of her body to teh ground, covering her face with her paws, clearly still preoccupied with her thoughts. SHe should just tell him. but how. How? SHe needed to tell him. She just couldn't bring it out. Oh, this was just horrible.
