Tour of the Territory (Vinepool)

Cinderweb could barely contain her squeal. She was a warrior, AND she had an apprentice! The gray she cat slipped into the apprentice's den and poked her apprentice with her one white paw. "Wasppaw, wake up! We're going to take a tour today!" Cinder web grinned, white ears flicking in excitement as she waited for Wasppaw to wake up.

waspaw opened his eyes heavy with sleep and looked up and saw the gray she cat cinderweb standing over him looking down on him with kind and sweet looking eyes. He jumped up alert and stated bounceing. He almost yelled but stopped him self and," come on, come on let's start the tour right now"!!

Conderweb bounced outside, flicking her white tipped tail for Wasppaw to follow her. The long legged warrior slipped out the enterance and padded on for a bit, cheerful as usual. "Isn't it amazing this time of year?" She asked her apprentice, looking at the tiny shoots of green popping out of the snow.

"Now, this way is the two leg place. All the kitty pets live there, but two legs and monsters live there too, so be careful whenever you're over there." The gray warrior pointed with her tail in one direction, then she switched to the other. "That way is Leafclan. They are really smelly." Cinderweb wrinkled her nose a bit.

"Any questions Wasppaw?" She asked brightly, putting her shining pale green gaze on her apprentice.

Waspaw ran was chasing leaves and smelling everything around him when he heard his mentor talking. He ran up to cinderweb and said," are twolegs mean, what do monsters eat, and how bad do leafclan smell?" Waspaw started chasing leaves and feelings rocks again waiting for his mentors answer.

Cinderweb giggled. "You're just like me when I was an apprentice! Always running around. I'm still like that, though, aren't I?" The gray warrior laughed again.

"Alright Wasppaw, I know it's hard, believe me, I know, but we've got to focus. To answer your questions, I don't know what two legs eat. Some elder once said they eat black sludge, but you can never tell with elders. Some two legs are nice, but most are not. I think. And LeafClan smells REALLY bad. Let's go smell them right now! We're going to the border!"

Cinderweb races to the border, easily getting there fast because of her long and agile legs. She stopped at the border, not tired in the least. When Waspaw caught up, the warrior grew a bit embarrased. "Sorry, sometimes I forget how fast I am." She turned to the border. "Okay, give that border a good smell."

Waspaw still tired from the run tilted his neck towards the border and took a long sniff. Waspaw jumped up and shouted," yuck... yuck that smell worst then foxdung"!!! Waspaw back away from the border and said." I would never, not ever want to be one of those stinky cats and can we move on to a nice smelling part of the tour"?
