A Blaze in the Clouds (AbingHoeffer)

(@snowykcnomre Cloudpaw/face just got her warrior name and wants to talk someone about it. And Blazepelt is the only warrior she had spoken with IC recently, so...)

Cloudface padded on the warrior's den, proud of finally being named as such. However, there was something she couldn't stop to think about. When she had thought about her warrior ceremony in the past, she had always imagined her name a little...different. Maybe 'Cloudstorm' or 'Cloudclaw' for her strength, or 'Cloudleap' for her hunting ability. Something like that.

She thought of her fur, the dark-colored and oddly cloud-shaped patch over her right eye. Cloudface. Fitting, yes, but she had imagined something else.

The white she-cat made her way into the den, searching for a nest she could use, but stopped when she saw a scruffy-looking tom.

"Hello..."-She mewed. She had thought she was alone there.

"Hello..." Cloudface mewed.

The scruffy tom had been sleeping peacefully when the newly made warrior mewed. Blazepelt stood up and turned around. He saw Cloudface standing there. The cat had just gotten her warrior name, if Blazepelt remembered correctly. The orange tom discreetly flicked his tail up and down. He had, after all, been sleeping.

Blazepelt thought about her ceremony. He remembered seeing Cloudface smile. He also remebered about all the other cat`s ceremonies. It was good for LeafClan to have more apprentices and warriors.

Blazepelt looked at Cloudface. She seemed to be pondering over something.

"Uh, yeah?" Blazepelt quietly mewed.

Cloudface realized that the tom had been sleeping, and bowed her head a little. "I apologize. I didn't meant to..."

Then, she recognized him. She chuckled a little, not really understanding why she hadn't known who the tom was from the beginning. "Blazepelt, right? I hope you didn't had any new problems with thorns since we spoke last time..."

She padded closer, she had found an empty nest just beside him. "Sorry, I'll let you sleep now. You don't mind me sleeping right here, do you?"

The orange tom yawned. He was a bit tired. "Sorry, I'll let you sleep now. You don't mind me sleeping right here, do you?" Cloudface mewed. Honestly, Blazepelt didn`t care what Cloudface did, so as long as he could get some rest. "No. I don`t care. Go on ahead." Blazepelt mewed sleepily.
