70 miles per hour.
Zero to 40 in three strides at 25 feet per stride.
The world’s fastest land animal and it’s most graceful hunter, an animal that hunts for its food on the run. Swiftly catching it's prey every time, never missing a beat...
Anastasia stalked forward her posture great, -so she thought-, she would definitely get it this time. She was a great forest cat after all! Her head raised up high and she smiled big showing off her not fully grown teeth. Prancing off to the end of the squishy thing -couch- she wiggled her butt a few times before falling, very ungracefully, onto the floor. Scrambling to her paws the she-cat glanced around like someone was watching her, or perhaps she was making sure her two-legs were not around. Walking over to the water box as she called it.... It was a invisible box that held water..and fish! She tilted her head back, the young light orange she-cat stared up at the tank with soft green eyes.
Her dark tabby stripes seemed to lighten as she sat in the sunlight thinking of a plan. The water box was so high up, she squinted in frustration and glanced around. "there has to be a way up there...' Suddenly her green eyes widened and she stared at the place where two-legs often sat, she ran over to it and began to dig her claws into it slowly climbing back up it, and she had just been on it, she then climbed up the back of it pretending it was a high mountain -clearly being dramatic-. Slowly Anastasia wiggled her way across the back of the couch and towards the fish, a narrow ledge that if she feel death would soon find her!
The she-cat was just a short length away from the tank, she easily stepped onto the top of it but keeping her balance was... well.. another thing. The second she stepped ontop of it she fell over something braking below her, her lower body was now under water and the water was biting at her -the light was int he water-. Clinging to the side and yowling for help she was sure she would drown when suddenly she was swiftly lifted out of the tank and dropped onto the ground while her two-leg fussed and swatted at her before running off to clean up the mess. She was confused as to what had happened, she was a great hunter not some clumsy wet thing..
Retreating to a large window, Anastasia glared back at where her two-legs were, she slipped behind the curtain and allowed the sunlight to warm her up. Shaking violently she flinged water everywhere making her fur puff out. Slowly Anastasia began to groom her fur.
