OOC: Surprise Starsilver! I decided we must roleplay, so you can do whoever you want for this thread with my cat Briardawn ^^ I would recommend listening to the song. It got me all juiced up ^^ And there isn't any screamo in it, if you don't like screamo
Words: 1380
Music: Crown The Empire -- Millennia
Hey there, shadow,
You didn't seem to care at all when you watched me go.
I know young love is just a dream,
We were only seventeen,
but you're the only love I've known.
The sleek furred feline stepped into the shadows, trees overcasting there shadows upon her back. Her warm honey gaze was now cold as she padded forward in slow steps, as if she held no regret and no caution. but ever since him she held no caution, as who cared about her life? She was only and simply the quiet she-cat who stayed and outcast to the clan, with only her brothers to care. but then again, her clan could simply screw off. As she stepped forward, the sky above her held no heed t anyone color, no sparkle of a star nor the moon to highlight her way, as now, all she could do was let all other senses take over. This hell she was in was daunting, but she was ready for anything, or anything to take her life, as she knew these woods were dangerous. The trees were dead and knarled, with long outstretched branches that could resemble claws nearing her, trying to puncture her skin or even to the extent of to scare her away. Any other cat would rush away from this area out of horror, but the she-cat just shrugged it off.
So please just let me go if you're done
Who would care if she disappeared? Her brothers?
'Cause it's hope that kills this heart.
No one but her family.
So please set me free, kill the spark.
Why would she worry if she would not even be remembered? It was just stupid to try, and she was not going to hope that someone not part of her family would even remember her if she disappeared in these woods of hell. Her pace was now faster, less of a snail's pace, as when she got deeper with every single step, the feeling of animosity that floated in the air grew stronger, as if some being held only pure hate and hostility. Many cats would be turned away by the evil aura that would send chills through any cat's spine, but to the she-cat, it was nothing she had not faced before. Every step pricked at her pads, as the dead grass she trended upon was almost spiked which stinged with every step, yet the pain was nothing to the pain she had felt long before. but, just as she stepped into a single clearing that was barely fox-lengths wide, the wind started. In seconds an arduous feeling overtook her, and she collapsed as her breath caught in to the wind.
I've been gone from this world for what seems like millennia,
Looking for nothing short of a miracle.
I only ever wanted to come home.
Please won't you let me go?
That scent, it was him.
When I have nowhere left I can run away
Will you lie to me, tell me I'll be okay?
Close my eyes and lay me in my tomb.
Then pull the trigger and send me home.
Why was it him?
So how did I get so far from my yesterdays?
Another broken heart now just a memory.
I should've left you in the dark,
I should've left this awful town
And never found out how to love.
The wind seemed to redirect its direction, and it was soon spinning, spinning in a circle. The only air that could find it's way into her lungs was his air, his scent. The scent that had caused her so much pain, pain that could be the worst of types. A pain that only struck you in the heart, and a wound that is unhealable to any herb. No love could be adequate enough to really fix the wound she held, but there was no true love. Only pain, which was really the only thing that ever seemed to happen to her. Pain. Then there it was, the shadowy form slipping past the swirling wind and into the dust circle she stood. That same golden fur and sparkling eyes, the same eyes that she had fallen for...and the same eyes that had almost killed her."Hello, dear..." The sweet voice spoke out to her, his golden fur waving lightly to the left as the wind ran it's cold claws through it, and then he took a single step forward.
So I don't wanna know about the things that you regret
He was inviting her in.
now that we're dead and over and done.
And she almost took the bait.
Get away from me and leave my heart under the rug.
The golden brown tabby took a single step forward, her honey eyes distant, dreamy. Is it...him? The thought touched her mind as awe soared through her, staring into that sparkling, seductive gaze that had wrapped her in all that time ago. Her paw raised as she prepared to take one more step, brain-washed to the former memories of her pain and heart-break, as he stood before her. but then it came washing over her. Where saw him with that kittypet, and then that Talonclan cat. In seconds her awe-struck gaze turned cold, and a snarl rumbled in her throat. Her claws removed themselves from their sheaths, and she took a step forward. but not for love, but for the hate she now felt, and she wanted revenge. The cold wind sped it's already blowing pace, and ran it's icey claws through her slick fur, but she in no way cared, as she crouched close to the dead grass, and then smashed her haunches into the ground, her paw pads starting to bleed from the collision with the prickled dead grass. Her revenge was nearing, closer, closer....closer....
I've been gone from this world for what seems like millennia
Looking for nothing short of a miracle
Briardawn's light honey gaze opened to moss entangled into her slick fur.
I only ever wanted to come home,
Please won't you let me go?
It was all a dream.
The anomalies that were her nightmares had been occuring for moons now, yet this was the first one that seemed to occur in the Dark Forest. Good, he gets to stay in the hell that is the Dark Forest. With a small, cold smirk at the thought that seemed to uplift her mood, as if she could sweat, she would we drenched in it. Stretching her stiff muscles, the long-legged she-cat lightly pushed herself up as she glanced towards the entrance to the warrior's den. It was still dark outside, and it looked like dawn was a long time away. Narrowing her light eyes, Briardawn stepped forward and navigated through all of the sleeping cats, trying her best to avoid the tails of cats. She knew she hated that. Slipping through the exit, the moonlight lightly touched her golden brown fur, highlighting the dark tabby markings that etched across her fur.
So send me home!
She would be considered beautiful.
At least on the outside now.
With a few more feeble pawsteps, she stood in the middle of camp, the moon nestled in Silverpelt shaped with a crescent as of now. Like my heart. It used to be full. Now it is just a crescent.
When I have nowhere left I can run away,
Will you lie to me, tell me I'll be okay?
Close my eyes and lay me in my tomb.
Then pull the trigger and send me home.
