Come Play with the Big Bad -W-o-l-f- Mouse

Mousepaw stretched out the apprentices den with a smirk on his face, his long legs made it a short trip tot he freshkill pile as he snatched up the biggest prey he could. He was a rather tall apprentice with big paws showing that he would only grow more when he was a full grown warrior. The tom had snatched up a fat thrush and was walking back to the apprentice den sitting in a patch up sunlight to gobble up his breakfast. 

His eyes where a deep orange color with a small corner of green near his nose. He had short tabby fur with an orangeish brown tint to him. And he was nothing but a huge flirt, which he was rather handsome, perhaps in a playful way? Mousepaw swallowed a mouthful of food before glancing around while he licked at his muzzle.

The small brown apprentice spotted Mousepaw dragging a thrush across the clearing. He always had been jealous of the other apprentice's height.

Logpaw skipped across the clearing, racing to the fresh kill pile, determined to get a much bigger piece of prey.

However, he didn't see the sparrow that had fallen as Mousepaw had taken the thrush.

"Oomph!" Tripping spectacularly in front of the whole Clan, Logpaw got up, embarrassed, and lowered his head.

Snowpaw padded to the fresh kill pile, her sleek brown shaded fur glistened in the sunlight, her while legs stood in contrast with the dark browns of her back. She was warm, her ears felt like they were going burn off and yet here she was still training. She just grumbled slightly, she hated leafbare because of the snow and her very small frame got cold too quickly but then in greenleaf she back and ears got so hot she felt uncomfortable as well. She up to the freshkill pile to see Logpaw fall right in front of the whole clan. She just snorted with laughter. She was cruel, she honestly didn't care if the other apprentice was embarrassed or not. She enjoy making fun of others. She then noticed that another apprentice was carrying off a thrush, she just narrowed her green eyes. She was much smaller than that apprentice and she was considered an older apprentice being now about 10 moons old Snowpaw was one step closer to her warrior ceremony and well her warrior name. She wondered what it would be, hopefully it was something not to soft, she was the exact opposite of soft. She just then grabbed a mouse not in the mood to carry anything too big and she smirked at Logpaw as she passed by heading to where Mousepaw was going.

Mousepaw left ear twitched before his right showing that he had no hearing in his right and the toms bright face whipped up just in time to see the other apprentice fall. Mousepaw busted out in laughter before yelling across the clearing to the small tom "Whats wrong logpaw? Did you trip over a log?" very typical response for a tom apprentice but he found it funny and let his rather deep laugh for an apprentice continue on.

Once getting his fill of amusement he returned to his food swallowing another mouthful hardly chewing, the older warriors kinda understood the way he ate he was a tall and large apprentice so it was only normal he ate so much and so quickly. Glancing up Mousepaws orange eyes spotted a very small apprentice walking towards him. He offered her a warm smile before glancing down to notice her white paws. Her name is Snowpaw.. right? He took another bite out of his prey this time digging his long claws into it to hold it still.

Applepaw silently poked her head out of the Apprentice's Den, wary of the small amount of laughter she could hear in the clearing. The ginger she-cat saw Mousepaw devouring a large thrush just outside and Snowpaw and Logpaw by the fresh-kill pile, though Logpaw seemed embarrassed about something and Snowpaw was returning with a mouse from the pile.

With a flick of her ears, Applepaw slipped out of the den completely. She nodded to Mousepaw and Snowpaw in passing and went to the fresh-kill pile herself. "Alright?" she asked Logpaw quietly as she picked out a vole to eat.

"Trip on a log, Logpaw?" chortled Mousepaw.

"There's no logs, as you can see," Logpaw retorted.

"Alright?"

Logpaw turned, and spotted Applepaw. He wanted no sympathy. "Never better," he said loftily, "you?"

When Snowpaw was padding over to the other apprentice she heard what Mousepaw said. She just snorted and looked back at the other apprentice. There was another little apprentice after him, "Oh he has a little buddy. Pathetic. she just thought to herself. She turn back to where she was going towards the large apprentice. He was huge that was foresure but everyone was big compared to Snowpaw. She just watched as the tom smiled at her then glancing down at her snow white paws. She just continued towards him her deep green eyes focused on the tom before tossing her mouse right next to the apprentice, "Hey Mousepaw, I'm going to join you if thats alright." but the apprentice didn't give the tom a choice before she sat down next to the apprentice and took a small bite out of her mouse.

Applepaw's golden gaze drifted over to Logpaw as he spoke to Mousepaw before returning to the vole she had selected. The ginger apprentice carefully dragged the vole out of the pile with a single white paw. Satisfied she had only snagged the vole, she bent her head down and picked up her morning meal, intending to eat it further away from the Apprentice Den. Logpaw's answer and question for her stopped Applepaw in her tracks though. With a barely repressed sigh, she put down her food and turned to him.

"So far, I'm doing well," she said coolly, uncomfortable with continuing what could have been a nice, short, two-word conversation.

Goldenwind gazed up at the bright sun that floated above her head, well at least she tried to, her golden eyes squinted as she fought with the harsh rays. she gazed around at all the cats near her. she shifted her gaze towards the fresh kill pile where some apprentices chatted while gobbling down fresh kill. she noticed Applepaw, a shy but determined she cat. Goldenwind signaled the apprentice with her tail in hello.
