-Pollux-
A short huff escaped from the flesh toned cats lips. The weather outside was gorgeous, but there was not much to do. Part of her wanted to venture in to the woods and explore a bit, but she had done that quite a few times in the past few days and nothing new had happened. The other part of her wanted to just bask in the warm air that had engulfed the area, but of course, she had done this too many times. There had to be something more to these hot days than just basking and light exploring. As of now she was perched on the outside windowsill, in the shade of a tree in the garden. Her thin whip-like tail was curled around her heavy paws and her pale eyes moved to look at the fence. Another house loomed over it, perhaps there was another neighborhood cat over there that would like to join her this fine afternoon.
After a long stretch, she was off. Pollux leaped from the single story sill and on to the grass. Any morning dew that had collected on the grass was now long gone. The prickly feeling was rather enjoyable to Pollux. It reminded her of the way the carpet felt after her twolegs took the loud beast over it to clean it. The beast was not her favorite thing, for it was much too loud and rather frightening when it got too close. but, she wouldn’t admit that to anyone, not even the dog that couldn’t understand her.
The thought of the loud cleaning thing made her walk a little faster, and soon she was up on the fence. She balanced precariously, her tail waving around like a flag until she was able to stabilize herself. Her whiskers and nose twitched as she searched the air for any scent of another cat nearby. There was something not too far away, and it smelled quite feline. So, without a second thought, Pollux let out a loud mew. “Hello?” She called, leaning forward curiously to see who it was that was lurking about in the shade.
