Briarbreeze hurried out of the medicine den with big news. She needed to find Flintstrike. A moon had passed since the incident at Twolegplace, and they had gotten closer than they were before. She spotted him in the clearing and charged up to him. She pulled him from the back away from the group of cats he was talking to to behind a large bush, Briarbreeze didn't care if he was talking or not. They could wait. What she had to say couldn't. I have something important to tell you...   she looked around to make sure no one was listening, but not here... 
A list of places they could go filled her mind, Somewhere quiet, Somewhere dark.. The Charred Pine Tree! Mermories of her going there as a kit with her brother flooded her mind. She shook them off and grumbled: Follow me, now.

It had been a moon since the twolegplace adventure, and...other things, and Flintstrike had completely forgotten how scary it was. Instead, he'd found it made for a good story. "So there I was..." he was saying, to a group of enthralled young warriors who may or may not have been apprentices and kits, when Briarbreeze approached and dragged him away. "Briarbreeze!" he whined, "I was just getting--"

His ears pricked up at the word 'important'. What would be so important that she would interrupt his awesome storytelling? She seemed different than a moon again, twitchier...grumpier. He wondered why. "Alright, fine. Lets go." Trying to sound like he was in charge and failing (not, right? He could never fail.), he followed her out of camp, impatient to get back to his bragging.

Briarbreeze walked at a hurried pace down the path, silently. I can't believe I'm pregnant! These kits are going to be the most beautiful kits in Stormclan! I bet they will be as perfect as Flintstrike! Briarbreeze thought happily.
We are almost there, my love. She uddered in a sweet tone. Only a little ways now.
And just as Briar promised, they had reached the Charred Pine tree.

Flintstrike blinked a little, confused and concerned now. My love? Did Briarbreeze think he loved her? Well, she was pretty, and he didn't entirely regret that night...but love? That seemed a rather strong word to describe how he felt for her. but she seemed to have important news, so he followed her along easily enough, keeping his wits about him.

    Once they reached the tree, Briarbreeze turned around to Flintstike, she pased in a line, back and forth as she spoke,
"Okay, uhh.. I dont know how to tell you this... She stopped pacing and yelled, Wait! It will be a surprise. A really big surprise!
So, just never mind. And with that, Briarbreeze promptly turned away, stretched her legs and walked beck in the direction of the camp. Her tail twitching with anticipation; She purred: Bye, Flintstrike! I hope your ready for what's ahead.
She disappeared into the trees, laughing like a maniac.
