Thrushpaw sat awkwardly in the clearing, staring at the sky. The sun had just began to come out, and the sky was beautiful, bursting with color. No other cat was awake at the moment- Thrushpaw was usually the first to wake up. All my family is up there, he thought, except for my brother and sister. I hope they're having a good time in StarClan. I wonder what's really up there.. 
Thushpaw was really shy and scared of most other cats. He was scared of cats he didn't know, and he always had some suspicion on cats he just met. He licked Hus only jet-black page and dragged it over his body. I wonder what I'll do with Ryelight today... Wait! Don't I have today off? What should I do? 
Suddenly, Thushpaw was aware of another cats presence. "Anyone there?" he called out.

A ginger tabby she-cat with darker orange stripes padded out of the apprentice's den, stretching silently in the pre-dawn light. Applepaw was looking forward to a day off from her training. Perhaps she'd be able to do some solo-hunting, or explore Whisperclan's territory some more.

The call of a fellow apprentice surprised her, but not enough to make her jump. She looked around camp for the other cat, quickly finding the white-furred tom nearby. "It's just me, Applepaw," she told Thrushpaw.

OOC-WHY DIDNT I RESPOND IN SUCH A LONG TIME? *hits myself* Sorry, and no, that post is perfectly fine. Also, Applepaw is Applestrike now, right? Thrushpaw us down for the next ceremony.
Thrushpaw whirled around just in time to see a ginger tabby padding towards him, who he later recognized as Applstike. She was made a warrior just recently, and wasn't much older than him, maybe by three or four moons. "Its just me, Applestrike (Applepaw?)" Thrushpaw sighed in relief. He didn't really like cats he doesn't know, rather, he was scared of them. He had trained with Applestrike once or twice, and they had a few conversations. She was a nice cat.
