Just Part of the Family [Tagged]

Spiderkit curled up in the nest in the nursery. She was tired she had a long day she had yesterday. She meet Ivyheart her father's first mentor. She couldn't believe that her father had two mentors along with the old leader Pebblestar. She just blinked open her unfocused eyes. It was the same as normal, darkness. She just grumbled and then slowly got to her paws. Her long feathery tail stretching out. She just flicked it hitting something. She didn't know what though. She just said, "Oh sorry." Then she shook out her fur and hopped out of the nest. but stumbled a bit, but she finally caught herself and was able to get her paws under her. 


Deku

Brackenlight yawned. She sat in the nursery with her kits that hadn't been apprenticed. Hopefully they would be soon because her paws itched to roam outside of camp once more. She closed her eyes, but just as she was about to go to sleep she felt something hit her side. Her green eyes blinked open to see Spiderkit and her feather-like tail beginning to walk away. "It's alright dear." She muttered so as not to wake the others. "Where are you going though?"

Spiderkit just stopped and flicked her tail slightly. She didn't almost regretted on hitting her mother because she really didn't want to disturb her. She just shrugged and said, "Out, maybe to visit father." Then she started padding towards the den entrance. She hoped that her mother wouldn't stop her but she had a feeling that she would. Spiderkit just got to the entrance and then stumbled a bit on her paws falling to the ground. She then growled and rolled to her paws and stood up slowly.

OOC: Ah. Alright then.

Brackenlight watched her blind daughter stumble for the entrance. She was fine with her going to see Mudbranch, her poor mate probably needed the company since she hadn't been able to go herself. As the she-kit tripped, Brackenlight stood. "Do you mind if I come along dear?" She mewed. Hopefully Spiderkit would agree. Not only could she help her get to the medicine den, but she could go see Mudbranch herself.

Spiderkit just shook of her pelt and stopped. She heard someone getting up, it was her mother. She just looked over her should her green eyes gazing into nothing. She just said, "Oh I can't stop you can I" Then she just giggled before squeezing out of the nursery. She just took a few steps out into the clearing. Her ears were perked, she listened to the cats moving around her. She sniffed the air slightly, determining some by their scents. She just waited for a few moments before heading out into the camp, heading towards the medicine cat den.

Brackenlight smiled as she followed her kit out of the nursery. At least she didn't try to stop her. So the ginger she-cat made her way to the medicine den, following the little black pelt in front of her. She couldn't wait to see her mate. Maybe he would even tell them some stories. She had always loved his stories. The young queen turned her attention back to Spiderkit and her odd way of finding her way around camp. Since she didn't have sight to tell her where to go, she was using her other senses. Hearing and smell were the two prioritized ones. She sighed as she remembered why she had to use these senses. Her daughter had been born blind, probably because of some cruel StarClan prank. Yet, her daughter seemed to manage fine. That didn't stop her motherly instinct to protect her kits at all costs. That was why she followed her kit now. To make sure she stayed safe despite how she had seemed to manage.
