Foxclaw vs Rainstone vs Whitehare - Tournament Round 2

Foxclaw sauntered his way into his fight, a large smirk on his face. He was going to win this fight, one or two opponents it didn't matter to him. He was getting that tittle, and these two warriors weren't going to stop him. He looked to Rainstone then to Whitehare. His claws dug into the dirt ready to start.

Foxclaw launched himself toward Rainstone but at the last moment changed his aim to Whitehare. He wanted the large white warrior out of his way first. The long, lean warrior moved to make a double attack. His body aimed to hit Whitehare, but his claws were ready to attack the tom's head.

Whitehare stood there across from the warrior known as Foxclaw. He just watched the smirk on his face grow larger than his head. A little over confident aren't we? Whitehare simply thought. The large muscular warrior just dug his claws into the ground. He just bunched his muscles and watched as the lean warrior charged at Rainstone first. The large warrior took off heading towards Rainstone as well. He figured if they took out one warrior the other would be easier to take out. He just charged his large body like a truck. Thats when the other warrior turned on him lashing out with claws, Whitehare just kept running. He felt the cat claws connect with his head but he moved forward planning to just collide with the lean tom.

Rainstone was surprised he even made it through to the second round, but even then, winning still wasn't his objective. All he wanted to do was make this a good fight, make the others work for it. To tell the truth, that might have been easier with two opponents. He could tire them both out while they fight each other, and he could stand in the background, watching them. Before doing anything, he looked at his opponents. He, himself, had a naturally scary face that seemed as though he was ready to kill, but it wasn't like that at all. Rainstone just didn't think it was necessary to lighten it up for others. Now, Foxclaw seemed arrogant enough. Perhaps even hot-headed, but Rainstone didn't care about that. The only fact he cared about was the fact that this tom was from Whisperclan, just like the Tom Rainstone just got out of a fight with. What was it with those guys, always intruding on Rainstone's life like that? Really, such a pain. Nonetheless, Rainstone still had to study the other Tom. He couldn't place a clan, but he could place a name. That was because he was told his opponents names before this. Whitehare was a complete mystery as of now, although he seemed big and strong. Methods of power would not work, but speed would.

Do not attack unless attacked first.

Rainstone himself was a large Tom as well, and his fluffy medium-length fur only seemed to make him appear him bigger. He had natural muscle throughout his body and some muscle was from working on it. He did have a lean body structure, but it wasn't as small and delicate as his sister's. It was obvious he had been made to fight, but Rainstone had always believed that wits were the true winner. After all, strategy was one his last game for him. It might not win this one, but it was enough for him that he got this far.

As Foxclaw launched at him, Rainstone took it as an excuse to start moving. He was confident that Foxclaw wasn't actually targeting him, as it was a common strategy in a three-way fight to deceive the opponents in such a way. What Rainstone was surprised at was the fact that Whitehare had seemed to have fallen for the simplistic trick. Since Rainstone had moved early, he knew he could easily keep going forward and dodge the attack. However, his dodging choices were limited. Dodging always wore Rainstone out, so he always preferred to be hit than to just dodge. With his momentum in play, Rainstone just hoped it wasn't too deep of a cut.

He ran ahead just enough so Whitehare would collide with his bottom half. His front paws still clear, he twisted his body around towards the white Tom. He out-stretched his unsheathed claws, aiming to hit the exact spot that Foxclaw hit. He wanted to re-open the wound or make it worse, but with all the twisting around, Rainstone just hoped, just hoped, that he wouldn't hit any lower on the face or miss completely at all.

Foxclaw felt his claws hit his target, but Whitehare was still moving towards him. It was frustrating that he didn't stop the warrior, but it didn't matter he landed a hit. but he could see Whitehare charging still and there wasn't much time to do anything else. The lean tom took the blow, the wind almost knocked out of him completely.

The tom felt alive. This was a fight! This was what he had been looking for, something invigorating. He smiled. This was what he came for. Foxlcaw shook himself and was quickly ready to fight the two warriors before him. He launched himself aiming to land on the back of Whitehare. His claws extended ready to rake the warrior, his teeth ready to grab at the tom's neck.

Whitehare felt the one cat get knocked around. Whitehare stopped, and then felt claws connect with the side of his face. He just bared his teeth and whipped to see who it was. Rainstone had finally decided to attack. He just backed away from the two toms. They want to take him out first, which Whitehare was fine with. Its what he would have done as well. Considering his large size he knew that he was a threat to them winning this whole thing. He just thought Well lets make it a bit harder for them. He just then looked to the side to see Foxclaw flying at him he just waited for the last second before moving out of the way letting the tom hit the ground next to him. Thats when he reached out his jaws snapping for Foxclaw's hind leg.

Rainstone felt relieved when Whitehare had gotten off his lower half. It was highly uncomfortable for the tom, not being able to use his hind legs during fighting. He backed up for a second, stretching his legs as the fight continued. He wasn't needed at the moment, as it seemed as though Foxclaw was going after the tom. Rainstone couldn't comprehend what the tom was so intent on going after Whitehare when there was another tom of the same threat level who was cleaning up on his injury. He licked his leg once more, making sure it was alright.

He had looked up just in time to see Whitehare dodge the attack, and a small smile crept onto Rainstone's muzzle. This tom was finally using his wits. Perhaps it wouldn't be such a bad battle after all. Personally, Rainstone wasn't heading for Whitehare. It was he who came to him - Rainstone was just defending himself. Now, it was time for Rainstone to be the attacker.

He circled around the two tom's, and as Whitehare attempted to bite Foxclaw's hind leg, Rainstone reached out to Foxclaw's opposite foreleg with his claws unsheathed. Rainstone usually wasn't up for double-teaming, but if it was the only way to put this cat in his place, then so be it. Foxclaw needed to learn a thing or two about fighting, in his opinion. Rainstone was just glad that he and Whitehare had the honor to show him.
