Wolfstone vs Whitehawk - Tournament Round 3

Wolfstone vs Whitehawk (Roselocke, Falcon)

Whitehawk padded forward hoping that this time her competitor would actually come out this time, not that she was making fun of her last round opponent but she had been eager to try another fight and they hadn't even come to try a little spar, she hoped this round would be different

Wolfstone eagerly weaved through the trees, preparing himself mentally for the battle to come. It was obvious that he had mentally been scared by the very first battle, but right now, in this moment, he was prepared for what was to come in this battle against his opponent, Whitehawk. A she-cat from Stormclan he had seen a few times at the gatherings he had attended, but since the she-cat before he had made it his far, he would tread lightly-but of course go for the quick attack. The second he stepped into the area of their fight, he sprinted forward quickly, his paws smashing into the ground as his speed excelled quickly, until he was mere tail lengths from his opponent. In an instant he leaped to the side, looking like he was going to flank her, until at the last moment he leapt back into the middle lane, aiming to smash right into the she-cat with a leap, claws outstretched.

Whitehawk saw her opponent come at her like a bullet and braced herself, she grinned a little truly happy that she would get to have some fun this time, she felt his claws when they made contact and responded by raising her head in a quick attempt to try and bite him, with him being so close she hoped she wouldn't miss

Wolfstone saw the blood recede from his shoulder before he felt the brief pain as adrenaline pumped through his veins as his claws dug into the she-cat's fur, a small widen of his eyes before he mentally shook it off. Pain searing through his left shoulder, he felt his hindlegs touch the ground, before he smashed forward once more, aiming to knock the she-cat to the ground, to attempt to pin her to the ground before surging forward and letting his sharp teeth sink into her fur. That was if it hit.

Whitehawk dodged away from Wolfstone's attack grinning at him "that was good, nice adapting" she complimented before she crouched and began to circle the other warrior sliding side to side like a snake once even adding a little hiss, though whether it was for effect or she actually meant it, it was hard to tell, suddenly she leapt keeping low to the ground in an attempt to out balance the other warrior

"That was good, nice adapting"

Wait a second, take a damned step back-did he just get complimented by his opponent? Wasn't this supposed to be a full out brawl to the death or something? The silvery-white tom's eyes boggled and widened for a moment, before he snapped back into control just before his opponent slammed into him, while he quickly reared back and avoided the she-cat's attack with wide mossy green eyes, before he reared forward and aimed to slam into her flank, claws aiming to dig into her upper flank as well.

Whitehawk stepped back feeling his claws swipe through her flank she looked down at the wound and chuckled "I rather like the pattern of that one" she said with an easy smile "don't get distracted now" she teased with a playful wink before she start to actual circle him, watching in closely

Wolfstone was awestruck at this she-cat, for she seemed so casual about this battle it made shock ripple through him. This was a first for sure. Briefly shaking his head to make sure it was not just his imagination, the silvery white Tom stepped forward and analyzed his opponent, and in a moment he moved forward, his belly brushing the ground ever so lightly as he prepared to attack, or to defend himself. In a single moment, he lurched forward towards the she-cat with his long legs catching the ground in a sprint to her direction, before he let himself collapse, and in turn slide forward in a position to possibly knock his opponent off her paws, and his own left paw lifted to claw any attempt to leap above him. That is if any of his attacks landed.

Whitehawk felt her paws leave her and she thumped to the ground, letting out a small laugh before she rolled away from Wolfstone "I'm going to turn brown at this rate" she chucked shaking the loose dirt and dust from her fur before she leapt forward attempting to bite at Wolfstone's paw, hoping to impair him for a few moments, but not trying to permanently handicap him

The Tom smiled ever so slightly at her joke, and in a moment he was trying to pull himself back up, until he felt jaws clamp his paw. With a light hiss he lurched forward, his jaws aiming to dig into her shoulder as well, as his paw seared with pain, but it felt like nothing as adrenaline of the battle pumped in his veins, and his mind clouded with nothing but what was coming up. He craved victory.

Whitehawk dodged his snapping jaws and swung her paw up to try and slash at his eyes, not to permanently blind him of course but just to do it temporarily, so that she could continue her assault against the large warrior, she was really having a lot of fun this time around

The silvery white Tom cursed quickly under his breath as his jaws missed their mark, and in turn he felt claws slash across his forehead, and pain slip through him as she hit a sensitive spot. A quick flinch, before he was back in the fight, a low growl ringing through his throat as he quickly attempted to cross the close quarters in a quick raise of his paw as he slashed down with his long claws, aiming for her ear and forehead, before he leaped forward in an attempt to hit her again, and maybe even pin her to the ground if he connected with the she-cat.

Whitehawk felt him hit her and pin her to the ground and she let him, attempting to beat at his lower belly with her hind paws so that he would become winded and weak so she could manage to gain the upper hand knowing her blow to his face would help that if she managed to get free
