Moontail stretched his stiff limbs as he stood up from the spot he had previously been laying on. The sun warmed his fur and it shone in the light, giving his patches on his back a silver hue. He narrowed his eyes into thin slits to protect them from the suns strong rays. The day would end within a few hours and he hadn't done anything productive. It was time to do something. Hunting maybe. Or maybe even a quick patrol. He just needed to do something. 

The large tom yawned as he started walking. Time to find some cat that might be willing to accompany him.

Flamestep lay on the ground in the camp, sunning his luxurious ginger fur. His ears twitched at the sound of pawsteps drawing near, and he lifted his head. Narrowing his green eyes, he saw a cat that he knew as Moontail looking around the camp. He pushed himself to his paws before licking his white chest fur flat, and padding over. "Good day, my fellow warrior. You look un-entertained. Is there anything I could do to remedy that?"

Moontail turned his head as he heard a voice from behind him. He listened to it closely and turned around to see Flamestep, another warrior, standing behind him. He scanned the cat quickly from top to toe. He had heard about this cat, being a flirt machine. He huffed briefly to himself before he flicked his tail.
"You would be rather correct. I'm currently looking for Hunting Partners. Would you be interested?" Moontail asked, his whiskers twitching as he spoke. He hoped that the tom would accept his offer.

"I would be honored to patrol on this wonderful day." Flamestep replied, curling his lips into a handsome smile. "Although we may want to find some more partners to accompany us." He sat down and lifted one of his white paws. He licked it, and then drew it over his head.

Moontail gave Flamestep a polite smile and nodded. This tom seemed to be quite... self-aware, to say the least. but that was no reason at all to be rude. Moontail turned around and glanced at the warriot behind him. He didn't mind cats being self aware, as long as it did not inflict on duties or make them ignore others. Nonetheless, Moontail started walking slowly again.
"Let's find another cat to join us then, eh?"

A lithe but muscular blue figure bounded from the beach, looking quite fresh and happy. "May I have the pleasure of joining you on your patrol?" he asked in a deep, slightly accented voice. The senior warrior was quite happy- he had just returned from swimming and fishing. "You probably haven't seen me around. I'm one of the senior warriors. My name is Riverleap. Hello." He dipped his head in respect and cracked a cocky grin.

Moontail smiled as he heard another cat beside him. He turned his head and watched the newcomer with his yellow eyes. He seemed to be a decent cat from what he could tell. He turned to the newcomer and faced him.
"Yes you may Riverleap. I'm Moontail, and this is..." Moontail flicked his tail tip to point at Flamestep beside him as he waited for the tom to present their self.

"Flamestep. Pleasure to make your acquaintance." Flamestep replied, dipping his head in respect. Looking up, he cast his green gaze over to Moontail and Riverleap. "Shall we go? We don't want the sun to die before we return." He glanced up at the sky. It was still rather early, but depending on how long they were planning on patrolling for, it could be late by the time they get back.
