Muse: Fair enough (dead after this).
Rosebriar felt weak more than ever. The cold nipping at her pelt made her movements stiff. However, she had already convinced herself to contribute to her clan, despite barely being alive. Rosebriar of course noticed it but when she glanced at poor Splashkit, Rosebriar becomes confident that she is healthier than Splashkit. Unfortunately, Rosebriar was quite mistaken. She tried to minimize the possibility of dying from her brain. Rosebriar tried, even in these hard times, to remain optimistic as ever. It fact, it was the great difficulty of her clan`s struggle which gave the calico she-cat an extra boost of cheerfulness. However, her eyes showed nothing but tire. Truthfully, she was zapped of every last bit of energy she had. If anyone would worry over Rosebriar, she would wave their concerns away and continue on with life like nothing had happened. It sometimes bemused even herself to see how little Rosebriar seemed to care for the drastic changes.
Rosebriar was quite certain some cat would try to stop her before she could step barely a few pawsteps outside into her territory. Especially, Splashkit, some cats had many times requested her to stay in the warriors den. Rosebriar would have more than likely listened to them if other cats hadn`t insulted Rosebriar, doubting her strength, presenting their doubts in a nasty way. but none of that mattered now. Rosebriar was determined to show every cat just how strong she was. It was hard, she soon discovered. Often enough, Rosebriar couldn't think straight and often enough her vision was clouded. Rarely did the calico get a chance at being able to see clearly. These times, Rosebriar savored. Today wasn't one of those days to savor. Today it was frosty, cold, and frankly, a day Rosebriar should be in the medicine cats den. Unfortuantly Rosebriar saw cats taunting her as a challenge to show them how strong she was, despite the greencough visable effecting her. And as her competitive nature revealed itself, so did the fact that she was half dead. Literally.
Time Skip
Rosebriar couldn't hold out any longer. Death had pulled the strings for so long. It had worked her body tirelessly. She could hear voices inside of her telling her to push on. That she couldn't die! but Rosebriar knew it was utterly hopeless. Rosebriar helplessly lifted her eyes up to the sky, weakly mewing, "So this is how I die?" Too weak and tired to stand, she allowed herself to be caressed gently by the snow, lulled into a forever sleep, collapsing. Her body let out all of its body heat and her eyelids half closed before she could function any longer. Deep in the territory of WhisperClan, surrounded by snow, in a wide area of snow, with little plants but dead grass, Rosebriar lay.
