I Find Snow Rather Troublesome(Twine)

Everyone is so boring when they are sick, Mothpaw mused in her head. She lied directly inside the apprentice den, her creamy colored body sprawled across the remains of her nest. The moss had been strewn about, and most of it was filthy, but because all of the sickly, puny, and elderly got new moss first, Mothpaw was forced to wait. It was rather uncomfortable sleeping on dirty moss. She had attempted to pluck as many twigs and thorns out of it as possible, but it was just getting old and scraggly. She would get the moss herself, but ever time she came back with a bundle of the plush green stuff some warrior would make her hand it over in order to be used for the elder's nests.

The she-cat yawned. She had decided that she hated training in the snow. It was just so tiring. It was so hard to stay balanced when the ground could slide out from under you at any moment. She had also decided that if WhisperClan was ever attacked in leafbare, she would just leave camp for a little while and come back. There was no way she was even going to attempt fighting in the snow.

Between cat watching and her own thoughts, Mothpaw was feeling rather entertained. Sure, the cats in the clearing were not nearly as interesting as usual, but it was not as though Mothpaw had been expecting much out of them. She lied there silently, hoping that no cat would decide that it was a good time to go into or leave the apprentice den. After all, her body was practically blocking the exit, and she had absolutely no desire to move.

Rustpaw who lay curled inside the apprentice den in a tight ball stirs from his slumber. Blinking open his brilliant sky blue eyes which were a spitting image of his mother's he yawns curling a bright pink tongue. Slowly he rises to his paws, stretching his petite white and ginger body. His feathered tail waving through the air as he does so. He sits to groom himself not nearly as obsessive about it as his mother he still did a good job. By the time he finished his pelt gleamed off his too thin frame. Leafbare had been rough on everyone but Rustpaw's small build made him look worse than he was.

Finished lapping his pelt, the young tom rises to his paws and goes to leave the den. Still half asleep he fails to notice that a cat was laying across the exit. So with a startled meow and a soft thump he went tumbling over his fellow apprentice. " S-sorry!" he stutters, his nose sore from his fall he attempts to untangled himself from the she-cat and rise to his paws.
