Foxclaw let out an amused purr as the apprentice threatened him before dropping his gaze to her in a bored expression, "What in Starclan are you going to do? Leave? Not as my apprentice. In fact, you're lucky Thrushstar is soft and let you even be an apprentice." The red tabby moved quickly towards the apprentice to circle her, before moving to lean against the Sandypaw's back for just a moment. The tom quickly moved towards the territory, "Let's go. You'll get a tour as I see fit and not as some mouse-hearted run away." The tom was amused yet annoyed with the apprentice. It was nice to see someone in the clan that knew how to stand up for themselves, but he wasn't happy he had to deal with them. Mouse-brained Thrushstar. It was like he did it on purpose.

Sandy paw hissed in annoyance. Warriors always thought they were better than everyone else because they had fancy names and special privileges. She would she him that she was not someone to boss around. "Could we pleeeeeease hunt instead?!" she begged. Hopefully she wouldn't have to get to know the territory that she already knew.

Foxclaw unsheathed his claws when he heard the hiss of his new apprentice, but kept moving forward. They were too close to the clan for his to act. Thrushstar would interject, and honestly where was the fun in that. He was going to train his apprentice they way he felt was needed. And already he could tell it was going to be a hassle.

"You aren't ready to hunt. And I'm the warrior, we will do as I say. When I say. I could care less if you were bleeding, if I tell you to fight, you fight." Foxclaw smirked. He liked this feeling. The power he had over Sandypaw, power he earned and deserved. Power he had if she wanted to become a warrior. Was this what his mentor felt too when they were training? No wonder he was told 'no' all the time.

Foxclaw kept a steady pace, before looking back at Sandypaw. Suddenly he took off in a run. He needed to see what the apprentice had, what he was stuck with teaching.

Sandypaw cursed under her breath. "This cat drives me insane." she whispered, "No wonder Thrushstar was hesitant to give me him as a mentor." She stomped after him, trying to let him know she wasn't fazed by his threats. "You aren't ready to hunt. And I'm the warrior, we will do as I say. When I say. I could care less if you were bleeding, if I tell you to fight, you fight." said Foxclaw. A tremor of fear seeped into her heart. Why was he so eager to lead her out of camp? Then, he took off running. She smiled. If he was trying to test her, he would soon find out that one of her best skills was her speed. She hared off after him, taking long strides to keep up.
