I Assure You, I Will NOT Eat You (Tagged and Open)

Adderstep padded into camp, a scrawny rabbit in his jaws, he didn't even bother dropping it into the pile of fresh kill instead headed straight for the nursery to see if any queen might want it, they had to keep their strength up if their kits were to remain strong and healthy, the tom hesitated a little as he got near afraid that he might scare one of the little ones with his twisted up face, he knew most of the clan was used to it but he didn't want to frighten any of the kits Anya

[Anya]

A chocolate tabby kitten lay curled up at the belly of an identical queen. Her siblings were in a deep slumber but no matter how hard she shut her little eyes, sleep would not come. Instead of waking her mother she decided to sneak out and do a little exploring in the clearing. Slowly she picked herself up and eased towards the entrance to the den. She was a few mouse tails away and bolted out only to bump into someone.

“Oof!” the impact sent her rolling backwards and she landed curled up head between her legs and little tail sticking to the side. She wriggled back to her feet and looked up to see a big tom with a scary looking face. She yelped in surprise and crouched low, paws over her eyes. “Don’t eat me!” she cried.

Adderstep set his kill down before leaning down and picking the kit up gently by her scruff before setting her back on her paws "why would I eat you?" he raised an eyebrow "cats don't eat other cats, we eat prey like this" he poked the rabbit with a claw, he tried his best at a smile but due to the odd shape of his jaw it came out like a grimace

Goldenwind limped into the clearing with a scrawny mouse in her jaws, she had fallen down the hill looking for this. After she had fallen the mouse got lost in the snow and it took ages to recover it. The mouse wasn't much, you could actually see its ribs poking out under its snow covered fur. She sighed as she placed on the pile of freshkill, someone would appreciate it, thought Goldenwind. She stared around the clearing, there wasn't really anyone that she'd like to talk to and she was to exhausted to go out and hunt again. Maybe she could go and talk to one of the Queens, and play with the kits, she loved that.

Goldenwind shrugged and made her way towards the nursery. As she slid through the opening she was suddenly horrified at the sight of a frightened kit looking up at a warrior. The warrior was Adderstep and he didn't have a very friendly look on his face. Hey what in the name of Starclan do you think you're doing, scaring this poor little kit?! You should be ashamed of yourself, said Goldenwind without actually thinking first.

[Falcon]

"It's not something I can control Goldwind, unless you can use that sharp tongue of yours to untwist my jaw" Adderstep snapped, ignoring his lisp for the moment in favor of his temper, the flames of anger more welcome then the usual pain of being teased due to his misshapen face

Goldenwind burned with embarrassment at first as she realized that she spoke without actually understanding the situation but that burning aroused into fury as she heard the next four words that came out of Addersteps vulgar mouth I admit that I acted without thinking but if you would care to put your stupid ego aside you might be able to get the words ' I was only concerned" into your thick, mousebrained head! Goldenwind was slightly taken aback at her speech, she had never been that forward and mean to someone before, but her anger was clearly justified. As she continued to stare into Addersteps eyes, she noticed herself softening. She quickly avoided his gaze and muttered, I-I am sorry, I don't know where that came from. I should have thought first. I have to go now. Goldenwind slowly began to turn as soon as she said those words.

[Ferretpaw]

Moonkit tumbled out of the den too. She gazed at a tom bickering with another cat. Dang he was tall and what happened to his face? "Hello? Big warrior? What happened to your face are you okay?" Moonkit yelped as she got a better look. "I uh are you okay?"

[Falcon]

Adderstep looked over at the second kit "yeah I'm fine, I was born like this no big deal little one, are you hungry, I brought some prey for you if you are, but you'll have to share with your denmates too" he nudged the rabbit with a paw moving it closer to the kits

[Ferretpaw]

"Oh thank you! Come on!" She meowed to the first kit before lumbering back in the den to brag about the huge 'prize' she would say she earned. Though it was a struggle to drag the rabbit in the den she knew it would be worth it. The aroma of the rabbit was seeping in her hungry jaws.
