Jay padded in to the clearing, this was the exact place where he had met the love of his life, Qeunin. He smiled happily as he thought about how she had just had kits. A purr burst through his throat as he thought about his sons and daughters. He pushed through a bush and enter the clearing. A coll wind hit him cooling him down, it was new-leaf. The tough bare-leaf had past. but there was one good thing came this bare-leaf his children. He sat down and tucked his tail over his paws. He waited for his love to arrive.

Quenin pushed her way out of a bush lining the clearing, she looked tired, but happy. her eyes shone when she caught sight of her mate. she purred deeply and padded toward him her tail lifted in greeting, "hello dear!" she mewed brushing her fur against his. she cast a glance over to the bush that acted as a nursery for the kits, anxiety showed in her eyes. it was the ancient worry that all mothers had for their kits, and even now in her joy of seeing her mate gain she couldn't keep them out of her minds.

Jay smiled and stood up and padded towards his mate. He smiled brightly and said," The world brightens as you enter". He nuzzled her cheek happily and licked her nose. He said," Are kits are the most beautiful kits, in a couple of moons they'll be trainees and you and me will each train them, I'll be sure that my most trusted cat trains the other kits". He purred and pushed up on her cheek. He waited for her to say something.

Quenin purred, and she smiled, but in the back of her mind the classic worry of mother for kits nagged at her ceaselessly. she glanced back over her shoulder at the the bush that contained the make shift den where the kits were currently napping. her pale green eyes where filled with nerves at leaving the relatively young kits on their own. returning her attention to her mate she tried to push it from her mind, "jay... do we have enough cats to train them?" she blinked and continued, "I mean there ARE 8 of them and a have not meat many other of that group members..." she waiting slightly awkwardly.
