So mother visited you? {Falcon}

Fangpaw woke with a start. She'd known she had had a crazy dream, she just couldn't remember it. She stretched and padded out of the apprentice's den, bored out of her mind. It was fairly early, with only a few cats up. She yawned and made her way over to the freshkill pile. There were only a few mice, a sparrow, and about four shrews. She sighed and bounded over to entrance, half hoping someone would come and propose a patrol. She waited for ten, maybe twenty minutes before she just decided to go looking. She sniffed the air, catching only the scents of the cats that were gathered in camp. She'd need to work on that. Pacing around the fresh kill pile for a few seconds, she then resumed her place by the entrance.

Adderstep padded out of the warrior den his fur still damp from crying in his sleep, he yawned stretching out until his limbs shook padding over to where Fangpaw was standing "what are you doing out here this early?" he asked curiously, his heartbreak temporarily forgotten as he wondered what she was doing out here

[Nepeta]

Fangpaw detected a hint of sadness, but before she could see what it was it seemed to disappear. Then came a feeling of curiousness. She perked up. "Couldn't sleep," she replied. they would often actually talk while in camp so other cats wouldn't be weirded out by the two just staring at each other. "Ooh, Adderstep! Want to go on a hunting patrol? Food shouldn't be that hard to find since it's newleaf, but the freshkill pile is a bit low." She smiled, looking up at him with begging eyes.

[Falcon]

"sure where do you want to go?" Adderstep smiled as best as he could, not quite managing it because of his twisted jaw "Oh and I think I should tell you about the dream I had last night" he let the memory of his dream flow through their connection slowly

[Nepeta]

"Ummm, Not sure! We can just listen out while we're searching." She mewed. "Dream...?" She asked as he said he wanted to tell her about it. The dream floated into her mind. It was fuzzy at first, and the details weren't clear. She closed her eyes and the fuzz faded, showing Fawnfeather.

As the dream came to a close, Fangpaw coughed uneasily. So mother visited you...? she asked in thought, trying to hide her sadness. She shook her head as if to dismiss it, but it lumped in her throat. Sh-she's right though... You'll be a great father! Fangpaw thought.

Adderstep shook his head uneasily she misses us... even if she didn't tell you, she missed you too, she was concerned about you... asked how you were settling in and how you were doing she's probably just uncertain on whether or not you'll want to see her, given how you get along with Papa

[Nepeta]

Fangpaw winced. Um, yeah... Probably... She thought. Fangpaw, unlike her other siblings, got along well with Icepelt. They were very close. She often resented herself for it, seeing as he made her other siblings upset. If... If she visits you again, tell her I would like to see her! I don't care about any of that... she thought.

She flicked her tail to the entrance as if to say let's go. Making sure Adderstep was following, she bounded out of camp, her mind still on the dream.

She perked her ears, searching for some type of sound. Every once in a while there would be the crack of a limb, but no scent to confirm there was prey. Fangpaw opened her mouth, searching the air for a smell. She caught one and turned to look at Adderstep. Mouse, right? I think it's right ahead of us... she thought.

[Falcon]

I'll tell her if I see her again, but it might mean more to her if you searched her out instead, it might help prove to her that you really want to see her, she didn't seem very sure about visiting me, and I was the one who was closest to her Adderstep followed her out of camp allowing her to talk the lead and nodding when she asked him about the scent yup, mice smell more like dirt then squirrels but less like wind then rabbits

Yeah, you're right... She thought. Looking forward to the mouse, she crouched and crawled close. Go around back in case it sees me, like we did last time. Waiting for him to move, she tried to not step on any sticks. When finally in place, she nodded and crawled a bit closer. Then, she pounced. Mid-air, she saw the mouse look up to her, but before it could scuttle off, she jumped down onto it. "Haha! Gotcha!" She exclaimed aloud after biting its neck. Adderstep, I got it!

"Good catch" He purred smiling, as best as he could, "you've been practicing haven't you?" he teased flicking her with his tail gently "it's a nice plump mouse too it should fill a belly with ease and it didn't even hear you coming" he puffed his chest up glowing with pride
