Beetlepaw sat outside the warrior's den, waiting for Frostgaze to wake up. He hadn't slept most of the night, and he couldn't wait much longer.

I wonder what we're gonna do first? Beetlepaw thought to himself. I bet Frostgaze'll take me on a tour of the territory. but maybe we can go hunting, too!


Whisperclan territory had warmed up quickly after Leafbare ended, but Beetlepaw could still slightly see his breath. Then again, that might be because the sun was only just starting to rise...

Come on, Frostgaze... he thought, barely keeping his legs on the ground. I wanna start training already...

Green eyes opened with soft rays of sunshine upon them, the large white male hissed annoyed with the sudden brightness and stirred lazely hoping to go back to sleep. His mind was starting to wander off to dream land again his not very helpful brain reminded him of a fact. He had got a apprentice in the last ceremony. His eyes shot open and he was out of the warriors den in a blink. How could he have forgotten?! The tom did a quick job in gromming his long white fur to look at least decent before walking in the apprentice den direction just to see Beetlepaw already waiting for him. He could have died right there if Starclan wished. "Good morning Beetlepaw! I´m later, sorry." He smiled shyly feeling terrible with his mistake. "Did you already eat something? If yes, we can get going. I will show you around the territory today." Frostgaze said to the apprentice hoping he wouldn´t be TOO mad with his lateness, it had been mistake and it wouldn´t happen again.

"Sure, let's go!" Beetlepaw said, failing to contain his excitement. He hadn't actually eaten, but he didn't feel hungry, and he didn't want to wait any longer.

Beetlpaw looked towards the entrance of camp. He had never been outside camp, no matter how tempted he had been. Today was finally the day!
