Bright Faced & Cheery Eye'd [Icestorm]

It was a bright and sunny day in Stormclan. The sunshine breaking through the branches and flickering over the clan making the air thick and hot. Bees buzzed about newly sprung flowers and birds chattered in the trees overhead. Down below in the pine tree forest which made up the majority of the wooded territory, a vivid calico she-cat could be found. She was large for a female with odd ears which folded forward instead of standing up like most cats. Her big round vibrant yellow eyes were focused on a leaf that floated on top of the water which inhabited the shallow pool. Having a longer pelt Brightpaw had decided to come down to the shallow waters to cool off. Normally the young she-cat would of had her best friend Streampaw accompany her but Streampaw was sadly afraid of water. So Brightpaw had set off alone, and now sat with her body up to her belly in water. Eyes following a leaf carefully, her tail tip twitching as she planned to pounce.

Sootberry made his way through the clan at an eased pace. He had no where to be specifically, but the tom was bored. Cloverpool wasn't giving him her full attention anymore, not with herself becoming a queen again. She was focused on the unborn, which really wasn't fair to him. Who was supposed to pay attention to him? He wasn't close with his brother, his sister was missing, and so was Eaglepool. It was going to get lonely, he could just feel it.

Hoping a swim would help cheer himself up the gray tom made his way towards his favorite swimming spot. However, as he approached the water he noticed another already there. He recognized the cat as one of the apprentices, Brightpaw. Curiously he watched her for moment, before running and pouncing into the water unannounced. That leaf was going to be his.
