OOC: Things have been slow lately with RP so hopefully this will get things up again in StormClan.

The StormClan deputy withdrew from the warriors' den, jaws stretching in a yawn. It was late greenleaf now which meant that the chill of leaf-fall would be setting in soon. I should send some patrols out to stock up on prey before the leaves start falling. She thought to herself, gazing around the camp briefly before padding over to the fresh-kill pile and choosing a starling for herself. Finchsong took the bird over to the edge of camp by the entrance where she would summon her Clanmates after her meal.

Tucking into the starling, she stretched out her legs and let her eyes close halfway as she enjoyed the sun warming her ginger striped pelt. Finchsong chewed slowly, letting the flavours of the bird sing on her tongue before quickly finishing off the prey to get the duties done. Licking a paw, the she-cat passed it over her ears a few times before swiping her tongue down her fluffy chest fur a few times. Standing up, she moved to sit in front of the camp entrance to call the Clan together.

"Let all cats old enough to hunt and patrol gather here at the camp entrance." She yowled, her voice ringing around the camp. Once she had delivered the summons, her striped tail wrapped lightly over her paws as she waited for the cats to gather.

The little white tom lay in his nest, wide awake. He couldn't sleep. Yesterday had been so fun, going all the way to Midnightclan territory again. but he didn't see Silvershade this time. Stretching out in his nest, he scented someone out in the clearing. Finchsong! Maybe he could go on a patrol. Because his mentor had gone missing before he had any chance to train, he hadn't ever been hunting or battle training or anything. Although, I bet that no one will want me to come because I'm deaf, He though bitterly, but I'll show them that I can make a great warrior!

He stumbled out of the den and looked around for the deputy. There! She was sitting by the camp entrance, her tail wrapped around her paws. Frostpaw watched as she said, "...hunt and patrol gather... camp entrance". This was his chance! Bounding over, he stopped in front of her. "Can I come?" He mewed, lashing his white, fluffy tail. I can't wait!

The cream furred she-cat sat in the shade of a tree, giving her self a long wash. She could hear the birds singing loudly, and gazed up at the sun that was shining brightly over her. When she had finished she stood up and took a few paw steps out of the shade. She arched her back in a long stretch, and then sighed, looking around the camp. Hmm, I wonder if there is anything I can do today... She thought. Then a loud yowl rang around camp, it was the deputy. Her ears pricked with interest, and her light green eyes landed on the deputy. Patrol! She thought excitedly. Stormpelt bounded over to the deputy, her tail straight up with excitement. She noticed that a white apprentice was already there. She watched with a smile as he lashed his tail with excitement. It wasn't long ago when she had been an apprentice. but now she was a warrior, and she enjoyed it very much. Stormpelt's green eyes sparkled in the sunlight. Then she asked cheerfully, "May I come aswell? The white tome had also requested to join the patrol. Then she sat down, curling her brown tipped tail around her brown paws.

A young, tall she-cat rolled over onto her stomach, ruffling her short, leopard-spotted fur. The white-and-gray warrior blinked her amber eyes slowly, trying to place the sound that had broken through her slumber. The emptying of the Warriors' den grabbed her attention. Is it really this late?, Driftfeather thought, twitching an ear restlessly.

Stifling a yawn, the white she-cat with light gray leopard spots padded into Stormclan's camp clearing and glanced around. Spotting a small group of cats gathering around Finchsong, Driftfeather's focus sharpened. A patrol! Tail raised and ears tilted forward in interest, the quiet warrior trotted over to Stormclan's deputy. Without saying a word, she sat down near little Frostpaw, tail flicking back and forth behind her.
