OOC: Here you are Isilme . Pretty proud of the title ^.^ I'm never able to come up with something good.
IC: Golden tabby fur glistened in warm sunlight. Amber eyes gleamed as a squirrel searched for food of its own. "No need for that food squirrel." She muttered under her breath so as not to scare it away. The she-cat took a step forward, carefully placing her paw back on the forest floor. All her life she had made sure to hunt cautiously. One sound and the prey would run or fly away. That's why she liked battling better. It was easier for her to have to think on the spur of the moment instead of slowly stalking future food. Besides, all this quiet would get to her. Eventually she would start remembering old memories that she could care less about, and then old memories that she preferred to keep hidden.
She sighed softly and glanced towards the squirrel. It seemed to quickly be losing interest in the surrounding area as it was beginning to discover that there wasn't much more to be found. She had to act now if she wanted to catch a meal for her clan. She took another step forward, hastily this time, and unexpectedly found herself making a loud crack as she stepped on a small twig. Sunstar groaned as the squirrel peeked up and met her amber eyes. "Guess it's now or never." She mewed, pouncing towards the squirrel. Her outstretched claws met fur when she stood up straighter and took a look at her catch, the prey was gone. It had escaped the claws that would have sealed its fate. "Mousedung! If I hadn't had been so caught up with the silence I wouldn't have missed it!"
