Any kits want to hear a story?

Waterdrops lay in her nest thinking of when she was a kit. She missed her mother and father and loved being an elder, but she never had a mate and never had any kits. She was fine with that but she would love to have kits to tell stories to. Thats what she should do right now, She should tell some stores about her childhood to some of the kits!

Flamekit padded out of the Nursery into MidnightClan camp, glancing behind her. In a few seconds, Miuntkit came running after her hissing. "You left without me?" Flamekit grinned in the most annoying way possible. "I made sure you'd wake up." Mintkit growled. "You left a piece of wet moss on my head!" Flamekits response was to purr. "And look. Now you're up." Mintkit closed her teeth around Flamekits tail, not hard enough to break flesh, but she had a good grip. Flamekit jerked it back toward her, making Mintkit fall face-first into the ground. Flamekit made quick to dart a few paces away, right next to the elders den. Mintkit launched herself at her sister, who sidestepped, letting Mintkit fall into the Elders den. Shaking her head at her sister she walked in. "Oh, hello Waterdrops." The black kit meowed. Mintkit walked over to Flamekit from somewhere across the room. Flicking her tail over Mintkit's head, Flamekit purred, "You didn't break through the wall, right.?" Mintkit shrugged. "Not that I noticed." Flamekit shook her head at her sister again. This was the closet she was going to get to a no. "Sorry Waterdrops. We must be disturbing you."

Waterdrops watched them play with eachother
"No-No your not bugging me " she mewed

Flamekit sent her eyes back to her sister, who was leaving. She sighed a little. "I should make sure she doesn't get herself into anymore trouble....." Glancing helplessly out toward her sister. Wait, Mintkit was heading back to the nursery. She couldn'beleive her luck. Now she could have a little bit of time away from her sister. She almost sighed in relief.

"well maybe I could tell you a story" she mewed and sat down licking her paw.

Over her few moons of life, Flamekit had enjoyed stories told by the elders. She loved anything that held information. She herself liked stories of battle, but, any would do. "That would be great Waterdrops!" She meowed with enthusiasm. Settling down into a sitting position, she looked up at the elder.

Waterdrops smiles and began

"Once- Before you were born, There was a small kit just like you! She had lots of energy and loved to play, but faintly got annoyed by her brother and sister. That little Kit was me..." she mewed and continued the story
" I was adventurous and loved to scare cats- I learned quickly, if you scare an elder you get lots of punishments...Ok- I was bored one day, there was nothing to do..My mother and my brother and sister were sleeping...My father was on a hunting patrol. The only cats up were the elders.. Sunnydew and Marshtail. Sunnydew may have a sweet name...but she was as sour as a lemon! So I decided to go ask for a story..Marshtail ignored me and Sunnydew hissed at me to go away- Well I was just plain mad about that. So I stuck my tongue out at her and marched back to the nursery. And boy- was sunnydew furious. She kept her eye on me all day until she decided to take a nap!" she paused and laughed "Am I going to fast for you?" she questioned the kit

Flamekit purred, a small bit of laughter in her throat. "No, you can keep going." She replyed after Waterdrops asked her. Sunnydew...... It was a funny name, and from the story, ironic as well. There was probably some event in the old elders past that had caused her to be that way, that Waterdrops hadn't known as a kit. but, for a story, it was a pretty funny thing. Something to purr at.

Waterdrops continued "Well while she was taking a nap I had taken some wt moss and stuck it on my pelt and my ears. I snuck up to the back of her head and jumped up onto the ledge above sunnydew. I gave a yowl and jumped landing ontop her. She squealed nd we both went like 10 feet in the air. After that I had to clean the elders den and everything else for weeks!" she laughed. "Well that tought you a lesson! Dont scare and elder!" she laughed and purred at the kit.

[To think that while I'm sitting here, I'm playing Flamekit as an Apprentice, She just had her ceremony.]

Flamekit purred in recognition. She'd never been one to break the rules. but, it was fun to hear about. It happened quite a bit, so there would be no shortage of stories like this one.
