Stand On The Edge With Me {Mid/open}

[Foxpaw]

Brightpaw trotted around the territory, head whipping back and forth as she curiously scanned her surroundings. Okay, so maybe she wasn't exactly supposed to be just out exploring the territory on her on. but what was the worst that could happen? Besides, she was just curious.

[Midnight]

He was testing his speed. He wanted to make sure he was still the fastest- if not, close- cat in the Clan. Stormpaw raced through the undergrowth of MidnightClan territory, forcing his legs to move faster. They screamed with pain as he strained them, but he had to keep going.

Messing up everything, Stormpaw's paws messed up on where they were supposed to land and the tom rolled forward. When he stopped moving, he lay there, too tired to move. He thought he heard the sound of a cat going through the forest, and Stormpaw drowsily called out, "Some cat out there?"

[Foxpaw]

Brightpaw froze, ears pricking and eyes widening in surprise. At first, her blood ran cold, because what MidnightClan cat would really run so loudly though the territory? but after thinking it trough for a moment, she realized the animal had to be a cat. It wasn't big enough to be a fox or badger. She took a hesitant step forward, eyes bright with curiosity. Then she heard the cat's voice and trotted forward, stepping towards the fallen lump of fur with confusion and concern on her pretty face.

[Midnight]

"Oh, hi.." Stormpaw said, sitting up. "I was trying to be faster while I ran and ended up straining my legs too much and I tripped." He admitted embarrassingly. "Who are you? I've seen you in camp before, but I never got your name..."

[Foxpaw]

Brightpaw stiffled an amused purr, green and blue eyes lightning up. "Oh, I've seen you around camp too. I wanted to talk to you, because I pretty much talk to everyone but I keep getting distracted. Anyways, I'm Brigtpaw!" she mewed enthusiastically.

[Midnight]

Stormpaw smirked a bit, amusement in his blue eyes as she spoke. She seems talkative. He decided, thinking it to be on the adorable side. "I'm Stormpaw!" The tom stood up and cleaned his gray tabby fur a bit before looking back at the she-cat. "Hey... I just noticed that your eyes are different colors.. That's cool!"

[Foxpaw]

"Really? You do? I think they're kind of weird..." Brightpaw mumbled honestly. She glanced at him with bright, curious eyes then looked back down at her paws. She shuffled them a bit shyly.

[Midnight]

"They're not weird," Stormpaw meowed, trying to catch Brightpaw's eyes. He didn't want her to feel sad or really different, "They're cool! I wish I had different eyes, but mine are just normal blue eyes."

[Foxpaw]

Brightpaw looked up, meeting his eyes with her own now bright blue and green eyes and looking straight into them. She took a few steps closer until she was almost nose to nose with the other apprentice and narrowed her own eyes. Then she stepped back, eyes closing into a smile. Her head cocked to the side slightly. "I think your eyes make you look very handsome, Stormpaw. I wish both my eyes were blue like that!" she purred.

Dovepool padded up to the apprentices
"Hello there young ones-" she smiled and sat down purring
"Stormpaw-You look-Tired" she laughed

[Midnight]

Stormpaw purred a bit as Brightpaw came close to his face and his whiskers twitched a bit. "Thanks," The tom said, looking to be in a daze. He snapped out of it when Dovepool came over and meowed, "Hi Dovepool! Yeah, I am.."

[Foxpaw]

Brightpaw dipped her head politely to the other she-cat. She couldn't for the life of her remember her name. She didn't think they'd been introduced either. "Hi, I'm Brightpaw," she mewed politely in greeting, distracted from Stormpaw for the moment.
