Eager For Adventure! (Squirrel only)

Ruby leaped powerfully on the fence by her twolegs' home. She was outside and eager to go an adventure. "Any cat bored and want to do something?" The she-cat called, her green eyes looking around. The brown tabby- with white on her chest and paws- leaped down and continued her search for a cat. Ruby wasn't necessarily a 'good' hunter, but she could definitely fight well and was strong, yet just looking at her wouldn't show that. Ruby was slim and her fur sleek, a graceful she-cat.

Brody was walking along his fence when he heard a cat call out from across the thunderpath. He jumped down and raced across the thunderpath to meet a sleek she-cat. "Hey, I haven't seen you around. You new here? By the way, I'm Brody" he introduced. He jumped up on one of the nearby fences and stared down at the pretty she-cat.

"Lived here all my life," Ruby answered. She looked up at the tom, "Must not have noticed each other, then, I guess!" Her whiskers twitched in amusement. "I'm Ruby.. Want to go an adventure with me?" Her tail went higher into the air in excitement, hoping that Brody would accept.

"Sure!" he answered. It'll keep my mind off of my sister. he added silently. His sister had been sneaking out to meet a pesky loner and causing him tons of worry. That jerk had even gotten her run over by a monster. "We could explore a different group of twoleg nests." he suggested.

"Ah, you silly tom!" Ruby purred, "That's no adventure!" She flicked her tail, "Come on! We'll head to the area behind the Clans.. Much more to explore there!" The brown tabby happily trotted off toward the area where she liked to explore best. She disliked the Clans because she thought that they figured they were better than any other cat, and she tried to keep away from them. Comments Tags: Brody Word Count:

"but don't the clans hate kittypets? They'll claw our fur out if they find us. I've heard they have patrols seraching their territory for prey. Probably has 4 or so cats. 4 trained cats against 2 kittypets? Not a fair fight." Brody tried to explain without making himself look scared.

"I said behind the Clans' territory!" Ruby looked at Brody with amusement in her eyes, "If we hang around right outside their border, there's nothing they can do about it... Usually I like to leave them alone and stay away, but I'm kind of in the mood to bother them today." The she-cat smirked and let out an amused purr before padding on. "Okay, you got me there. but how do we know when we cross into their territory?" Brody wondered aloud. "They can fight us there."

Ruby smirked, "Scent line. Their ranking scents are all in a line to mark their border." She meowed. "We can hang out barely inside the border and if any of the cats come, we step right outside the border and there's nothing they can do unless they step out of their territory- in which case, they will be on loner and rogue territory." She purred at her plan and hoped that the tom would be okay with it. "There's nothing to worry about, I promise. If any attack, we get out of there fast."

Brody purred at the thought of ticking off some clan cat. "It's like they're inviting us to make them mad." he said with a smirk. "Lead the way." he told her, jumping off the fence.

"I know, it's so funny!" Ruby agreed. She nodded as Brody told her to lead the way and she bounded off, heading for the back area where the loners and rogues hung out.

Ruby stopped after a while and scented the area, trying to find a Clan's scent line. Where are the scent lines? She wondered, hoping she hadn't lead Brody to a place not even near the Clans. That would be so embarrassing considering he's a cute tom.. She thought, gulping in nervousness.

Brody bounded after the sleek she-cat, stopping only when she did. "Something wrong?" he asked, not wanting anything to be wrong. How could something be wrong on a day like this? It was a beautiful day, and he and Ruby were going to torment the clans. What could go wrong, other than getting lost, and running into angry clan cats, or meeting a badger...Stop it. Everything's going fine. he told himself silently. You're just being mouse-brained in front of a cute she-cat.
