Giving Viperfang His Nine Lives (Open to SC cats)

[Midnight]

(StarClan cats of any Clan may give a life to Viperfang. Only one life per member may be given unless seconds are needed. Every 2 posts Sapphirewish must post in order to continue. Also, they may not begin posting until Viperfang has received his first life from Lionstar.)

Lionstar waited in a clearing full of beautiful flowers, sitting with his fluffy golden tail wrapped around his paws. His eyes were a mix of happiness and sadness- happy that WhisperClan would get a new leader, yet sad that Swiftstar was gone.

Viperfang padded toward the Skyfield.He quitely approached the rock and touched it with his nose.Let the day truly begin Viperfang thought as he drifted to sleep.Viperfang's eyes opened as he found himself in StarClan with Lionstar."Greeting Lionstar," Viperfang mewed as he dipped his head to the former leader.

Lionstar nodded, "Hello, Viperfang. Have you any questions, concerns, or a name-change you would like to speak to me about before we begin?" The previous leaders of StarClan always wanted to be sure that the next leader of their old Clan was comfortable becoming leader and wasn't worried, had a bunch of questions, or was unhappy with their name.

"Just that cat who calls himself MN,it's distubing having him defeat WhisperClan so...easily,"Viperfang admitted.If only things where back to normal the black tom thought."How do we get rid of him?"Viperfang asked.

[Midnight]

"That we do not know... We know nothing of his intentions- although it seems like he's aiming for all Clans, not just WhisperClan- and we have to figure something out... For the mean time, just try your best, Viperfang. I have a feeling your first moons of leadership will not be very fun.." Lionstar meowed. "There is something that I would like you to speak with your Clanmates about, if you can.. It's a lesser problem than what you're currently dealing with, but it is definitely important. It's why we've been so rude to our living Clanmates lately... There are many cats whose mate is in another Clan or not in a Clan at all. It has to end." Lionstar narrowed his golden eyes to show he meant it.

Viperfang listen as Lionstar answered."Yes,he seems to disappear once in a while and it looked like he was headed for another Clan's territory,"Vipefang mewed.The black tom grunted at Lionstar's comment on his first moons of leadership.That is true though,the truth is always harsh Viperfang thought.Viperfang's fur bristled as Lionstar talked of the problem about Clan cat mating with other cats outside the Clans."I agree,that has to stop,soon not just WhisperClan,but all the Clan will be unpure,"Viperfang hissed.He felt his claws dig into the dirt beneath his paws.

Lionstar nodded. "Your- and the other Clans'- Clanmates don't seem to realize or care that they're breaking the warrior code." He licked a paw before looking back at Viperfang, "Are you ready to receive your nine lives?" The long-haired golden tom asked, his yellow eyes narrowed and strong.

Viperfang hissed as Lionstar said that WhisperClan doesn't care or realize that they are breaking the warriors code."If they realize it I don't blame them,some may have bad memory though still that is not much of an excuse but not caring about the warriors code is totally unacceptable," Viperfang growled.Have they forgotten to uphold the warrior code that they must always follow Viperfang thought with nervousness.Viperfang blinked as Lionstar asked Viperfang if he was ready."Yes,I'm ready,"Viperfang mewed as he braced himself for his first life.

Lionstar flicked his tail, "Remember whose realm this is." He couldn't be harmed but unless Viperfang struck first, he wouldn't attack either. "Remember who was the leader when his Clan was destroyed." As soon as the words came out, he thought it to be a bad point. Lionstar shook his pelt and padded over to Viperfang, touching his nose to the tom's, "Viperfang, as you have been chosen to become the leader of WhisperClan, I shall give you one life. That life is strength. I hope you use it to aid your Clanmates in battle."

Viperfang nodded as Lionstar spoke."Of course,it must have been... harsh for you,"Viperfang mewed.It must have been a very hard time when your Clan has just been destroyed the black tom thought feeling sad for the former leader. Viperfang's watchful green eyes watched as Lionstar shook his orange pelt. The black tom felt strength surge through him as Lionstar gave him a life.

"Greetings," A brown-pelted she-cat approached Viperfang. "I'm Leafstar, the last leader of MidnightClan." She nodded and said, "I am Leafstar, the previous leader of MidnightClan. I give you, Viperfang, the life of kindness in hope that you will use it to soothe your Clanmates in times of need." The leader padded back to her place and sat down once again.

Fernstar walked up to Viperfang, "My name is Fernstar, I was the leader of LeafClan before Skystar. I give you, Viperfang, the life of quick-thinking in hope that you will use it to make good decisions fast in the event that they are needed in your Clan."

Fawnpaw stepped forward. Her small brown tabby body shone with the stars as she headed towards Viperfang. "I am Fawnpaw and I give you the life of Courage. Lead and defend your clan through the toughest of situations," she mewed, touching her nose to his head. She then backed away and sat among the other Starclan cats.

Sandpool stepped forward, his large sand colored body easily made a path towards the new leader. "I am Sandpool. I was deputy for Whisperclan many moons ago and now, I give you your fifth life. I give you the life of Understanding. Follow your heart in the toughest decisions," he mewed, pressing his nose to the warrior's head. He then stepped back.

Viperfang dipped his head to the StrClan cats."It's an honor to meet you," Viperfang mewed.

[Splash]

Splashfire steped away from the other StarClan cats, her pelt a mass of stars with it's silver swirls. "Greetings. I am Splashfire, a former Medicine Cat of MidnightClan. With this life I give you determination. Use it to never stop fighting for what you know is right." Splashfire meowed, touching her nose to his head and giving him his sixth life. She stepped back into the StarClan cats.

"I will,"Viperfang mewed as Splashfire gave him a life.
