Ever had one of those days? {Private}

It was a nice day, soft clouds lazing their way across the azure sky, sunlight filtering soft dappled light onto the frosty dawn ground, and a slight chill weaving its way through the breeze. It was just morning, with the light slowly pushing away the dark, and taking over the sky once more. The white kitten was out, prancing around like nobody's business.

Considering her past, it was pretty amazing what she was today. Not the secluded recluse some would turn into, but the outgoing daredevil--a cat that knew she only had one life to live.

With quick paws, Oceankit pranced across the ground. Her mind was focused on the leaf that she repeatedly kept batting into the air, her eyes were extremely focused on this task. The leaf must not touch the ground. With giggled emanating from her small maw, Oceankit pranced around.

[Midnight]

A large, long-furred tom stepped out of the nursery, narrowing his eyes as he spotted a kit prancing around, batting at a leaf in the air. How pathetic. Weak. The ginger-and-white kit, with his matted fur, sat, waiting, outside the nursery entrance. Russetkit had planned a scenario in his head like this out moons ago; some kit busy, minding their own business, and suddenly, bam, they were being crashed into by none other than the StormClanner named Russetkit.

This was it. The perfect opportunity to test one of his well-made plans lay right in front of him.

Russetkit slid, crouching, at first a few tail-lengths, stopping every now and then to wonder if the she-cat, whose name he didn't know, had noticed him, before continuing on. He was OCDing a bit about the whole thing; did she see him or did she not see him? It bugged Russetkit beyond belief not knowing.

Either way, after a while, Russetkit gave up the sneaky act and charged forward, as fast as he could go, being a rather large tom, and pushed forward, not seeing whether or not he succeeded at knocking the she-cat over. Did I do it? Russetkit whipped around after running for a tail-length, looking around for the other kit.

Oceankit may have been immensely focused on that leaf, but past events made the kit stronger in some senses. As soon as she heard the rushing paws, her ice blue gaze shot away from the leaf. With quick reflexes only a small and light body could give, she rolled out of the way. The only thing that was hindered was her tail, which whipped backwards.

Ice gaze flickering with a cold fire, the white kitten padded towards Russetkit, eyes narrowed. "What was that for?!" She yelled, not caring about his bigger size or the fact that he was ultimately stronger than her. Oceankit was fast... she could run. "I clearly was standing there, and you clearly ruined my game" Her voice made it sound as if this was the worst thing that could possibly occur in the history of the clans.

[Midnight]

Russetkit snarled when he noticed that the she-cat appeared unharmed, and it definitely didn't look to him like he had knocked her over. That's completely unfair! I had it perfectly planned out! The tom crouched, his tail lashing in severe aggravation, his mind obsessing over the fact that his plan failed so incredibly. What went wrong? Was it maybe the she-cat's fault and not my own? Was it the way I executed it? Should I have instead of charging just kept sneaking the whole way? How did I fail? The questions swirled in Russetkit's mind, and he had no intention to stop thinking about it, trying to dissect his plan, but unfortunately, the she-cat began talking, and the ginger kit's thoughts were interrupted.

His whiskers twitched. Russetkit's previous annoyance and aggravation were both forgotten in an instant, and he sat up, thoroughly amused by the other kit's anger. At least his plan had succeeded in some way, even if it was only one part: to anger the target. That part was done nicely, if Russetkit did say so himself, though the rest of the plan.. not so much. "What was that for? Well, to get rid of some of my own boredom, of course. To test a plan that could prove to be very useful for StormClan someday. To see if my planning skills are as sharp as they should be. I've many reasons for pushing you, uhh... whatever your name is.." Russetkit answered.

The tom almost burst into a loud purr of hilarity, "Ooh, I'm so very sorry! Your game! I couldn't have ruined that, anything but that! I could hurt your family and friends, but if I ruined your game, then dear StarClan, take me to your hunting grounds!"
