November Gathering 2014 - New Leaf!

Rosepaw looked at Mudpaw when he came over to her. She didn't really know Mudpaw that well even though he was one of her den mates in the clan. "Hello, Mudpaw," she meowed noticing that a cat near by seemed to be angry and shook her head wondering why cats were so quick to anger.

Spottedpaw heard his mother raise her voice and turned his head towards his mother his gaze unreadable. Of course he wasn't really paying attention so when a Talonclan apprentice crashed into him by accident he was carried off his paws. For a heartbeat he laid on the ground dazed before getting to his paws. "What's the big idea, watch where you're going," he snapped shaking himself.

Leopardpaw had just arrived at her first gathering and accidentally ran into another apprentice which she assumed to be from Sunsetclan. "Sorry it was just an accident," she muttered looking down and scampered off. "Who put thorns in his nest," she muttered once she was out of earshot.

Mudpaw grinned "how you doing?" never the shy type, Mudpaw could talk to anyone even if he never met them before "excited to be a warrior soon, I am I think it'll be great" the tom, who had come to the clan as a kit had nearly tripled in size since then, even rivaling Tigerfang in mass, even though the warrior is nearly 40 moons older then him

Featherpaw snapped back, "None of your daughter die-" She cut herself off, looking at Aspenpool with full horror. She looked at Sandstripe, her eyes watery. "D-daisypaw, s-she's alive right?" She shook her head and looked at Aspenpool with disgust as she snapped, "How dare you leave and come back with these lies! Daisypaw wouldn't have died that easily! She's a strong fighter! She was your daughter, my sister, and I know she wouldn't have died without a fight!" She looked hopeless, wanting to bury her face in her father's fur and never come out.

Aspenpool of Sunsetclan

Aspenpool couldn't have been more shocked when the she-cat spoke. She's my daughter?! She sat there a long time, just looking at her daughter. She had made this cat standing in front of her! Even if the she-cat had been disrespectful, she could have cared less in this moment. "I'm so sorry." She said very quietly, her eyes filling with tears as they had done so often lately. "Daisypaw was very sick...the two legs...they threw her lifeless body outside. Later I saw the birds! They..." She had to stop, her voice was cracking and she could barely understand what she was saying. "I wish it wern't true." She sniffled a bit, hanging her head low.

It didn't matter what her daughter- who she still couldn't remember the name of- hated her. Maybe she had always hated her? Maybe she was mad Aspenpool had been taken by two legs? but it didn't matter- Aspenpool couldn't control what had happened. She sat there quietly, deciding that if her daughter wanted to spew mean words in her face- that she couldn't stop that either. Aspenpool had lost everything, and along with it was her willingness to fight apparently. She was too weak, too broken to fight for her daughter. She glanced at Sandstripe, obviously heartbroken, before turning her head back down and looking at her paws. She hoped more then anything her daughter would come around. She had already lost Daisypaw- she didn't want to lose her other daughter too. It was bad enough that none of her kits had talked to her since she got back. Maybe her whole first litter hated her? She wasn't sure why. All she had heard was how sweet and caring she was since she got back. All of this was a huge shock to Aspenpool.


OOC: @lilykit- I have no clue what you replied to under me, but it sounds reasonable to think Sandstripe would yell at her. Lol. Maybe Clem's post vanished? Also do you wanna start a thread with Aspen and Feather back in Sunsetclan after this?

Featherpaw looked at the ground of the news, and her pelt bristled at what Sandstripe had said. She looked at him, her eyes wide, "B-but it's not my fault! My mother told me to always be honest, and that if I wasn't, I would never have any friends! And the truth is, I don't believe that she would leave her kits behind, and then come back with amnesia! It's not fair! The time we went out and bonded; all gone!" She lowered her large ears, her shouting hurting her own ears. She continued on, "I promised I would be the best apprentice for her, but how can I when she's not there for me?"

((STORMCLAN HAS ENTERED THE GATHERING!))

Goldenstar padded through the pines that seemed to stretch endlessly. She was tired, upset, and honestly, sick of StormClan queens. Why were so many of them getting pregnant with cats outside of StormClan?! It was bad enough to have almost a million more mouths to feed, but these warm bodies and pleading mouths were only half clan at best. Oh, no, her mistake. Mia's kits were half kittypet, half LeafClan. And both the kittypet and the LeafClanner were living in StormClan now. If she could claw her own ears, she would. She still did not know how she could be so careless as to just let Mia in in the manner that she did. At least she showed some restraint with Redshadow.

She finally reached the Pond of Truce. She signaled to the clan that had followed her to disperse and socialize as wanted, and headed towards the rock herself. She did not even notice Pebblestar's predicament, as she was not a tall cat in the slightest, and other heads blocked her view. On top of that, the noise and chatter also blocked out the splashing. She leapt onto the rock, her paws stable and steady as she bounded to the top. She quickly found her place, and sat with her tail wrapped around her front paws. "Greetings, Fangstar, Ratstar" She mewed curtly, nodding to each in turn. She did not feel like socializing with the clans of the father's that some of the queen's certainly carried kits of. She had too much to think about anyways.

[Winter is Coming]

Blackpaw darted across to the island, eager to meet new cats. His single eye took in as much as possible, from Jayflight and Brightpaw of SunsetClan in quiet conversation, to the leaders nearby. He beamed, only to become distracted and stumble right into a cat from ananother Clan: Heatherpaw of WhisperClan. Shaking his head, he mewled an apology, turning his brilliant, single, blue eye upon her, curious. His black ear swivelled, while his white ear and the rest of his white body - besides his tail - stayed quite stationary.

Lilystream padded into the gathering, hoping to see the father of her kit. Of course, her brother had come along, and was standing by her side as she scanned the area. Rainrunner wouldn't leave her side, afraid of cats questioning her.

Fangstar turned his head towards Goldenstar. He didn't say anything just grunted not really in the mood to talk he almost seemed agitated but he didn't say anything about their being a reason why. He was fed up with cats breaking the code as well and had banned Icepelt from this gathering for breaking the code. He had also put him on apprentice duties for a few moons. Before Lionice had betrayed the clan Fangstar wouldn't have dulled out such a punishment but now he didn't seem to really care. The last two cats he had punished he had banned from the gathering.

Wolfbreeze followed her leader into the gathering her sightless gaze fixed straight ahead of her.'I hope this gathering runs smoothly,' she thought walking over to a spot that had no other cats. The blind cat sat down by herself and curled her tail over her paws.

Larkdapple of Stormclan:

 The plumed tail of the young warrior twitched nervously as she followed behind her leader Goldenstar. It had been quite a few moons since the dark tortoiseshell had made an appearance at a Gathering. After the mysterious disppearance of her Clanmate Larchtalen, the feline had been more enchanted by her nest then meeting other cats. Large doe-like brown eyes widened at the sight of so many cats, and by the scents that were intermingling, it meant that not every Clan was here quite yet. Trying to shield some of her distress she silently hoped that a friend of hers would make an appearance, yet seeming to forget to realize that Midnightclan had not arrived yet. Sighing inwardly she slowly padded into the middle of the clearing, trying desperately to not bump into anyone she knew. How embarrassing would it be to tell them that she had been absent because she was still mourning the loss of a cat she somewhat knew? A small frown creased her feature's as she spotted a particularly striking marbled she-cat. Ears twitching she hoped that her friend wouldn't recognize her.

Raindapple of Talconclan:

  Mint green eyes brimming in excitement the pretty marbled feline wove her way amongst the cats that were currently lingering around the clearing. How exciting! Larkdapple is finally back! Her brown and white reversed tortoiseshell coat stood starkly out against the dark Stormclan warrior as she gave a loud meow for a greeting. "Larkdapple!" She exclaimed coming to a stop in front of her long time friend. The two had met when they were still apprentice's, but after receiving their warrior names and meeting once, Larkdapple had failed to attend Gatherings. "How are you?"
"Fine. Thank you Raindapple."
The curt reply made the warrior cock her head in puzzlement. Since when had she grown so cold? Raindapple flashed her pearly white teeth at her, and gave her a small bat on the shoulder. "What's wrong you fuzzball?"
"Would you please act your age for once and settle down?"
"Pardon Dapple?" Raindapple used their nickname for one another
"Really, we are at a gathering, and we must act like we are warriors. Now if you excuse me, there is someone I need to meet."
With a flick of her tail, Larkdapple moved away, going towards a group of Stormclan warriors, leaving the Talonclan warrior rather confused and slightly hurt. "Well... fine then." She meowed quietly at the sashaying backside of her friend. Glancing around she tried to find someone else to talk to.  

[Winter is Coming]

Off to the side, Wolfpelt was anxiously looking around. He hadn't wanted to leave the safety of the camp, but he owed it to his Clan. He finally sighed and got up, moving through the sea of cats before making his way over to Raindapple. "You seemed familiar with LarkLarkdapple," he mused in a low tone, sitting down. "You were friends, weren't you?" He asked, almost curiously.

Cloudfang pushed his way through the swelling crowd, irritated that with maturity, there came no wider a build. His growth seemed to instead favor verticality; while narrow and slender, he was a tower of a cat, which at least served him well at the moment. Craning his neck, the WhisperClan tom scanned faces and backs of heads, looking for something familiar, something her.

A particular face caught his eye. Not what he was looking for, and certainly not as favorable, but where this cat was, Lilystream was sure to be near. Cloudfang winded and juked across the clearing until he stood in front of his mate, his lovely, his foreign flower, always just out of reach, and the tom who always tried his hardest to get in the middle of it all. His face lit up and relaxed.

"Lilystream."

Lilystream purred as a familiar face entered her vision. She watched as her mate, towering over her, made an appearance. She rushed over to him, and resisting the urge to nuzzle him, pretended as they were just old friends.

"Cloudfang, I haven't seem you in forever! I've missed you, you know?"

She giggled, acting all innocent-like.

Ripplepaw bounded into the gathering in excitement, for this was his first. His gray fur pointed almost silver in the moonlight, and as he rushed into the clearing, you could see his stiff muscles under his thick, long coat. He searched for a new friend, his green eyes glowing in the moonlight, his long tail twitching with excitement. As he turned back, he waited for his slow mentor to appear with the rest of the cats. He looked at the felt apprentices from other clans and realized: He hulked above them, his tail, large build already almost as big as a warrior, even at his young age.

Fallenstorm was walking beside his mate and the new made apprentices Blizzardpaw and Nightpaw, he was so proud and happy that could barelly countain his excitment, Ripplepaw was ahead of him jumping like a rabbit, he laughed what called Blizzardpaw attention. 'Nightpaw why is dad laughing?' She asked curious not really aware that it was his apprentice ahead of them, she had never gone to a gathering before and was quite ancious herself.
